Chapter 14 - Amazing Voice

1500 Words
Erina was walking to the rooftop garden when Morpheus put his headphone on her head. She was startled at him and almost jumped. "Why are you following me?" She stopped walking and looked at his smiling face. "Hmm... I want to see you." He put his hands in his pockets. He seemed so shy about getting close to her. "What do you mean?" She was listening to the music and she memorized it. She tried singing the chorus. He is the one who will love me, I know he'll never leave me, With my hopes and dreams, With him, I can do all things. He tried singing along with her. The small birds flew to the trees, the flowers were danced by the wind and her hands were waving slowly. Nancy listened on how good her voice was when singing. She gritted her teeth and glared at the two. Her jealousy was eating her that made her go out of the rooftop. Gavin collided with Nancy. "Sorry." She went downstairs, not looking at him. "Rude girl." She heard it that was why she came back to glare at him. "I'm not rude. You're just stupid." She controlled her tongue because she didn't want to say anything bad that could ruin her image. Gavin looked at her eyes. He knew she was hurt. Her back was leaning against the wall which Gavin took advantage to get her frightened. "Don't be rude, okay?" She pushed his chest and ran away downstairs. As she stopped running, she whispered, "Why does my heart beat so fast?" She didn't know that Zack was behind her. He grabbed her waist and said a thing that would make her body hot. They ran fast to his car and drove it to the nearest hotel. It was a calm night when they arrived at a room for couple. Yes, it was Zack's family hotel. They were rich and Nancy's family was not that too wealthy. Her family owns a mini-mart near the second street from their house. "Zack, please don't." She was battling against her will. "We're here. Let me." Zack was hardly full of emotions and he wanted to fill her with his love. "I'm so in love with you." "No, Zack. You're not." She hissed but he kissed her lips torridly. "Tell me that you love me too." His hands unclasped her bra. She pushed him away but reached her waist against his chest. "I don't love you anymore." He touched her waist down to her hips. He removed his skirt and her pink panties revealed. "Zack, no." "But your body says, please." He pushed her to the bed and touched her down there. "See, you're wet." He was thinking so lustful about her body. He knew to himself that he was the one who owned her first and nobody else. It was already midnight when they had finished it. "Is it me who got you first?" Nancy smiled secretly and answered, "No." Zack looked at her while she was touching his right n****e. "I know that I'm your first because of your tightness." He knew it right. There were many women he made out with but hers was the one who got his taste fit to him. "I'm sorry. But am I your first?" "No, babe." He smirked like he was the king. "Then, let's break up." Her eyes were telling that she was afraid to speak up but he chose to be calm. "So be it. No, I don't. I want you so badly." He put his finger on hers. She was moaning his name when her climax was about to burst. "This is enough, Zack." She groaned while grabbing his hair and moaned as he tasted her. Gavin saw Erina and Morpheus sitting on a bench. He was about to approach them but he stopped. He knew that he would be rejected. He turned his back at them and he heard her calling his name. "Gavin! I'm glad that you're here." She waved her hand as Morpheus was looking at him, smiling. "I'm just searching those brats." He waved his hand goodbye. Erina ran unto him and grabbed his hand. "Bye, Morpheus. Thank you!" She pulled Gavin downstairs. "Wait, are you chasing time?" "No, I want to buy that buns." They went to the cafeteria while Erina was happily walking to the place for buns. "I want this." From the very start, Erina was borrowing his money. All he could do was to give her some of his allowance since he had a part-time job. He pity her secretly because of her situation. She was having an amnesia and nobody was claiming her as a family. Gavin rolled his eyes and gave her money. "You have a gluttony since you came here." "Thank you, Gavin. I wish that I could repay you soon." She was smiling and seeing him with his annoyed expression, she pinched his nose which made him flinch. He touched his nose and gritted his teeth. "Ouch!" He was annoyed. He wanted to walk away but he refused. "Just don't let me into trouble. I hate that." Erina pouted her lips a little which made Gavin's anger to lower down. It magically subsided down quickly. Perhaps, it was the genuine color of hers that made him show his true identity. To be honest, he wasn't close to any girls from his section and nobody was involved with his life except her. Since he let her be with him, it was making him think that it wasn't difficult to have friends with someone like her. When he was a little boy, he thought that girls were annoying and would make troubles. All he have to do was to be alone in his seat until he met a friend. That was a long time ago and a long story to tell. His focus now should be the present. He wasn't looking back to his memories because that left him scars. He couldn't tell when would be the right time to heal. He was just going with the flow of his life. He wanted to live peacefully so, he chose to have pain in silence and deceive his surroundings that he was okay. He was standing behind Erina while she was picking another bun. He was staring at her secretly and realized how innocent she was. He was thinking about her, having a whole and loving family. He was getting envious whenever he thought of a family. He shook his head and avoided thinking things. Erina gave him a grin and gave him a red bun. He accepted it and there she was at his back eating the bun. "Let's eat it there." She was pointing at the bench near the small lagoon. "How are you?" "I'm fine. Thanks." He was seriously taking it as a memory with her. He didn't know why but his heart kept on telling him to cherish this moment. "Me. How about me? Won't you ask me?" She was hesitant at first but she have to ask him. She wanted to talk about her feelings about losing her memory. "How are you?" Although he wasn't on the mood, she wanted to answer it wholeheartedly. "Am I unlucky for losing my memories?" She looked down while she was holding her bun. "No. You're just facing challenges. You have to keep living while suffering. Maybe, it is how your life is written." He put his hand on the bench and looked at the sky. "Maybe." He took a bit on her bun and sighed heavily. "I'll take the risk no matter what." She looked into his eyes when he looked at her too. "Time will come that you'll remember everything." She nodded and looked at the sky too. "I'll be counting on you." He looked puzzled at her. He wanted her to stay. He was doubting about himself. He felt like being left alone when that time would come. Perhaps, she would leave him without goodbyes or even forget him and their memories together. He would be lonely and felt abandoned again like his family being broken when their mother left. For now, he would not be suspicious of her. He would watch her from afar and protect her. He would like to prepare himself for being left by her in the future. Erina was looking forward to what Gavin told her. He was sincere right away. She was confused about how to respond to his kindness. There was something inside her that was telling her, he had feelings for her but she washed away that thought. She wanted to be friends with him and most of all, her adoption papers were telling that they were siblings. It wasn't appropriate for them to be lovers. She was hoping in another life, they would meet again and from that time, they would be lovers. How she wished that they could be sharing their thoughts and that their feelings would become mutual.
