The last time they had slipped past the boundaries of the Yrol, it had been troubles one after the other. The incident with the succubus had honestly been the best thing to happen to Constantine in his opinion, but the fact remained that it would have cost both his and Vica's life if he hadn't been lucky enough to know a more mundane way to banish one without magic. And after that, it had been the chase through the woods by the ragtag band of rogues they had never identified, and then after that, Vica's run in with the trappers who had come to finish the job they'd started with Junior. The Yrol had good memories, though. Aside from the demon, the arrows, and the copious amount of blood and grave magic, they had both come away from it happier than when they'd gone in.
