Anastasia’s POV It was dinner time and I refused to leave my room. I didn’t want to see him and it was uncomfortable being around that many of those beasts. The old woman brought my dinner up to me and offered to keep me company as I ate. I turned her down and suggested that she go and enjoy her own dinner. I was used to being alone anyway. I had gotten used to being locked away or confined to one spot so it didn’t bother me any to eat in my room. It was actually an upgrade from what I was used to and still a bit uncomfortable. It’s crazy that after spending two years basically isolated in a dark and cold room, the light could seem too bright or the warmth could feel too hot.
