Finally, I reached the gates. It was a labored journey but I finally made it.
“Why are you here, rogue.” Kaelan growled.
I expected this kind of introduction. I was casted out from the pack due to my own poor behavior, but I wasn’t here for a reunion.
“I seek an audience with Alpha Bram. It’s important.” I announced in an unstable voice.
Breathing was painful and the guard completely disregarded my blood stained clothes and makeshift crutch.
