Maybelline Walter POV
It was the weekend and since I had nothing to do, I was going to sleep my ass off on the bed almost all day, but my plan was soon sabotaged by the knock on the door, forcing me to wake up.
"Who is there?" I groaned tiredly as I sat up on the bed.
"Good morning, ma'am. It's me, Adelie. Boss asked you to meet him in the gym," I heard Adelie's voice from outside and I yawned tiredly.
"Alright, I'll be there," I replied to her lazily and I heard her receding footsteps which I already assumed she was gone. I lay back on the bed and closed my eyes, and just like that, I was unconscious of where I was.
I had no idea how long I'd been asleep until I heard a faint voice.
"Wife... Wake up," I was so engrossed in the sleep that I just tossed on the bed sleepily.
