Chapter 3: Sema... The Cat Who Became Human!

"Say, Keiji... Who exactly is this girl?!" Sally said, her face filled with shock, which turned to surprise after Sema meowed, then tilted her head, wagging her tail with a funny smile.
"W-What is this, really?!" Sally gasped, taking a step back.
"I told you not to panic, okay? I'll explain what's going on, but promise me you'll never tell anyone about it, okay?" Keiji said, flustered, trying to calm Sally down.

Realizing that he had no choice but to tell the truth, Keiji sighed and began explaining it to Sally.
Keiji, Sally, and Sema are sitting in the courtyard room, where Keiji continues his explanation, starting from the moment he saw the meteor until he woke up in the morning to find Sema in this state.
At first, Sally didn't believe it because it was illogical, but when she thought about it logically, she came up with one possibility: "His wish came true."
"well... excuse me, I think I was a bit harsh with my reaction. Sorry for yelling." Sally said after the confusion and shock had subsided, then continued doubtfully, "Although I still have some doubts about that..."
Keiji smiled and said “It's okay, your reaction was normal." He continued with a calm smile, "As for your doubts, I can prove to you that this little girl is Sema the cat."
"How?" Sally said in surprise.
"Easy," Keiji said with a proud smile on his face. He noticed that Sally didn't understand what he meant, so he explained "When Sema was a cat, I had a habit of annoying her by poking her ear. She would often bite me, but it seems to me that she's gotten so used to it that she likes it.".
Keiji heads towards Sema, who's sitting on the mattress next to Sally, l*****g her hand and then stroking her hair. She notices Keiji approaching her, which makes her stop and look at him in surprise. He reaches out to poke her ear, and she thinks he's trying to caresses her, which prompts her to move closer. But he poke her ear, and she's suddenly overcome with a feeling of discomfort that turns into tension and then annoyance. She bites his arm, her face showing signs of annoyance. She also makes a gurgling sound after he manages to escape from her, as she stands in the threatening or defensive position typical of a cat.
"See? I told you it was Sema." Keiji said, scratching the area of his arm where Sema had bitten him.
Sally laughs at the situation and says, "It's really Sema. I'm sorry for doubting you." She continues, looking at Sema, who was angry with Keiji "Look at her. Isn't she cute?"
She reaches out, and before Sema can bite her, Sally pats her head before starting to pet her. Sema calms down, her cat-like smile returning to her face as she meows, until she suddenly stops and starts to shiver slightly, as if uncomfortable.
"What's wrong with her?" Sally asks worriedly.
Keiji remembers something important, and his face reddens slightly as he says, "Um... I think she... actually... hasn't urinated since she woke up?"
Sally looks at him in disbelief, then says, "Then why didn't you take her to the restroom ?"
Keiji's face reddened even more as he looked away "Are you kidding me?! I'm a boy... I can't go in there with her !"
Sally laughed a little and said "Oh, I get it now! Sounds like you actually have morals, hehehe"
"Of course I do! Do you think I'm some sort of p*****t or something?!" Keiji said, annoyed.
"Okay, I'll take care of it." Sally said before taking Sema's hand and leading her to Keiji's restroom.
Sally took Sema to the restroom to teach her how to use it, while Keiji stayed outside, trying to ignore his embarrassment.
Moments later, Sally returned, smiling, and said, "We're done!"
Keiji said gratefully, "Thanks. I really don't know how I'd have handled this."
"No problem. You're lucky to have me!" She laughed, then looked at the clock and said, "It seems to be getting late, I'll be going now."
Before she left, she remembered something, so she took some papers out of her bag and gave them to Keiji, saying "Here, these are some calendars the teachers gave us today." Keiji took the calendars with a smile and said, "Thank you, that's very kind of you." "You're welcome, bye for now, see you at school tomorrow!" Sally said before she left, Bidding him and Sema farewell, she went to her house.

As night fell, Keiji thought about preparing a suitable dinner for him and Sema, but he wasn't sure what she could eat. After some thought, he decided to make chicken soup, a warm, easy-to-digest meal.
He started cooking, heating a little oil in a pot and adding onions and garlic until their color changed. As he did so, he took out a piece of chicken and cut it into pieces. Sema, who smelled the chicken, came and stood next to Keiji, who tried to ignore her while he finished. Then he added the pieces of chicken he had cut and stirred them until their color changed. While he was oblivious, Sema excitedly jumped beside him, not noticing her tail until it was close to the stove...
"Meeeooww!" Sema meowed after she felt her tail burning.
"Sema!" Keiji cried out in concern, quickly taking her to the restroom. He placed a cold compress on the burned part of her tail and wrapped it with other small bandages to prevent her from playing with it. Sema looked at him with teary eyes.
"Everything's fine now," Keiji said, calming her down "Don't be sad, Sema."
So Sema's expressions started to disappear, then changed to a slight smile .
After they finished preparing the food, they sat at the table to eat. Before Keiji could begin his plate, he noticed Sema, who had mastered the use of a spoon and fork since the morning, eating with them with such panache.
Keiji smiled and said to himself, "Well done, Sema!"
After dinner, Keiji went to his room to prepare for bed. He turned off the lights, covered himself with the blanket, and closed his eyes. However, he soon heard a soft knock on the door. He got out of bed and opened the door to find Sema, whom he had assumed had fallen asleep in the living room, standing there, her eyes reflecting a mixture of fear and confusion.
"Meow..." she muttered in a low voice.
Keiji stared at her for a moment, then sighed, "You're scared, right?", then he smiled after she nodded, and tucked her in. "Okay, you can sleep with me tonight."
Sema quickly jumped onto the bed, covered herself with the blanket, and looked at Keiji with a happy smile.
"What a strange start to my wish..." Keiji thought as he stared at the ceiling, then gradually closed his eyes and fell asleep.
And so, his first day with Sema came to an end, but he knew this was only the beginning... and that the days to come would be even stranger.
