Logan POV: I watched her limp away on one leg. My heart shattered. Whatever she thought she saw, it looked like a massive betrayal, and I knew she wouldn't give me the chance to explain. I sank onto the couch and buried my face in my hands. For the first time in my life, I was completely lost, staring blankly into the dark of my own mind.
