LOGAN ~A day before~ Tomorrow was Mr Hayes’ burial. My mind was a complete mess, and my breath kept coming out short and fast. I had no idea how I’d manage to show up. Just the thought of it made my stomach drop, but I knew I had to be there to show my last bit of respect. I sat on the edge of the bed after wrapping up an online conference meeting.
