“What’s your name” Howard calmly asked again
“I~I~ my~name~~i can’t tell a stranger my name” she stuttered and with that she quickly lifted the bags and bolted away like a small rabbit been chased
Howard was momentarily shocked not knowing what to say as he watched the little girl bolted away
Few minutes passed
“Master Howard we have dealt with them but one of them escaped” His assistant came to him from behind and said, bowed his head
“They actually have the nerve to target me” Master Howard said with a cold aura emeanting from him, staring blankly to the direction the girl went
His assistant didn’t dare breath too loudly, he was so terrified by his boss aura, feeling that his boss aura is like a hot fire ready to consume anyone that move an inch closer to him
“Clear them up, no traces should be left” Master Howard said coldly, striding to another direction
“Ok~alright sir” His assistant said, trembling slightly and went to carried out the order
While the little girl has arrived at her small home, the house looks small, not well maintained part of the house is beginning to crack, the place looks like an abandoned haunt house, people barely pass their frontage
She pushed the small door open and bent down to enter
The house has two bedrooms but there is barely a space
A young woman looks to be in her fifties with wrinkles on her face but still looks beautiful and have a young face if not for her hardship that makes her faces wrinkled up, she looked much like a young woman in her early thirties
She sat on their small manageable couch in their small sitting room reading a newspaper
“Kaia~what took you so long” Her mother named Betty asked, softly seeing that her daughter is back
“I~I~~am back” The little girl named Kaia said, taking a slow steps to where her mother Betty is sitted
“Yes I know you are back, am asking what took you so long my dear?” Betty asked, stretching forth her hand to hold hers
“I~something unexpected happened~~ but don’t worry am fine” Kaia said, holding her mom’s hand while she sat beside her
“Okay” Betty said, while she touched her head gently, comforting her
“Where is Nathan?” Kaia asked, which is her younger brother
“In the room resting, he has a fever earlier but he is fine now” Betty said, sadly
Kaia quickly stood up rushing to her and her brother’s room where she saw him layed quietly on the small mattress
She hugged him tightly, running her small fingers on his hair
Sadly, slowly tears dropped down on her cheeks
She was sad and scared cause this isn’t the first time he had a fever, he is been having a high fever lately. Worrying that something might happened.
