Our first publication in the BRUNNAKR Edition is the "Mabinogion", which contains the oldest British prose stories. It was written by various anonymous authors, and some of the stories have been passed down orally from generation to generation, so that their content is much older than their written fixation. The collection of stories partly reflects early medieval historical events, but many motifs in some of the stories point to a much earlier, pre-Christian Celtic origin.
