Mine Forever

Chapter 4

Currently we all as in Manal's family members , me and muskan are sitting in the backyard of Manal's house listening to her childhood stories but I was not present here. My mind was overloaded with many what if's???

After Manal's mom forced me to stay for dinner I was praying to Allah to send me back home without any encounter with him

I was lost in my thoughts when I was brought back to reality by a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Aisha di looking at me worriedly

"What happened? Where are you lost? I'm noticing you from the time chachi told you to stay for dinner. Is there any problem?" She asked me

How can I tell you my problem. No one knows and what should I tell you that I'm scared, nervous and what not

"Sara?" Aisha di called me again

"Noth..nothing Aisha di I'm fine, you relax. Just a little headache." I replied looking down while playing with my fingers

"Okay." She replied and smiled at me

I'm sorry

I thought to myself and started paying attention to what Manal's chachi was telling but still I was not able to concentrate

After what seems like ten minutes we heard honk of two cars telling us that the boys have reached

Everyone got up and went out to greet them and meet their husband's but I was not able to move. After thinking for few seconds I made by way towards the hallway

"Where's my son? Isn't he going to come?" I heard Rumana appi's mother ask someone

I looked inside and saw everyone there except him. I sighed in relieve but I guess I should have waited for few more seconds because the next voice which I heard made me freeze

"I'm here mama" He replied making his way inside the hallway while wearing his black jeans and a black jacket on with his mobile phone in his one hand and car keys in the other

"Assalamualaikum" He greeted everyone while looking around and made his way towards his mother

"Walaikumassalam beta. How are you? Where were you for so long?" She started asking him questions

"I was busy with my work but see I'm here now and Alhumdulilah I'm good." He replied and kissed his mother's forehead

I turned around not able to look at him any more, when I felt a hand on my shoulder

"Sara, what happened? Why aren't you coming in the hallway?" Rumana appi asked me

"Nothing it's just I was feeling like it's not good to be in between family gatherings." I replied looking down

"You are not alone see even Muskan is there." She said while pointing towards Muskan

"Yeah but she is family. She is your far away cousin and I'm not that, I'm just a friend." I replied

"Dont feel like that. Everyone hear knows that you are a part of our family." She replied making me smile

"Good keep smiling and now come let's go and will bring the food. They all are hungry." She said and started making her way towards the kitchen while I followed her

She took the dishes from the stove and went out while I was standing there with some plates in my hand

Should I go?

No I shouldn't

But than what will everyone think?

I was lost in my thought when Rumana appi brought me out of my thoughts

"Sara, go keep them they all are hungry." She said and took somes glasses and started walking towards the dinning table while me? Well I was following her with my head hung low

"Assalamualaikum" I greeted everyone with my head hung low. I kept the plates on the table and dashed out from there not even waiting for a single second.

Phew!

My heart was beating so fast while my legs were shivering due to nervousness. I took a deep breath and made my way where everyone were in the hallway. As I was walking I heard some boys voice from the hallway. Confused I turned around and made my way towards the dinning room and to my shock all the elders were having their food including the ladies

"Sara, where are you?" I heard Muskan calling out to me but I was standing there like a statue not able to move

"Sara come." I felt Muskan come and take me along with her. I immediately lowered my head and started walking with Muskan

We entered inside and I felt everyone looking at me. I looked up and looked around and saw that he was not present here. I sat down and smiled at everyone

"Assalamualaikum" Faizal jeeju Rumana appi's husband greeted me. I smiled and replied him and saw that even Rashid jeeju Aisha appi's husband was present there. I smiled and that's when I felt someone missing

"Appi where is Ruhana?" I asked looking around for her because she was going to come with Faizal jeeju

While I was looking around I felt two hands covering my eyes. I smiled knowing who it is

"Whose this?" I asked pretending to think

"Tink tink." She replied giggling

"Hmmm.. who can it be? Can you please give me a hint" I asked her and she started laughing

"Etsh me Luhana." She said and uncovered my eyes. I smiled listening to her

"Ohhh Ruhana I didn't knew that it was you." I replied while taking her in my lap

"Whel youh? I misshed youh shooo muchh." She said while stretching her hands showing me how much she missed me. I smiled and kissed her forehead

"I'm sorry. I was busy but see I'm here right now." I said and she smiled and started playing with my hijab. I looked up and saw everyone busy in something or the other

Rashid jeeju was talking to Aisha di while his hand was resting on her belly. I smiled and looked away not disturbing their moment when I saw Rumana appi wiping the water droplets on Faizal jeeju's mouth with her dupattah while Manal, Muskan, Anaya appi and Haniya appi discussing something while Yazan, Anaya appi's brother and Ayan bhai were talking while standing in the corridor. Only one person was missing which I don't know where the person is. I looked down and was playing with Ruhana when I heard Manal shouting

"Listen listen. Attention everyone. Let's play a game, and the game is truth and dare." She yelled while looking at Muskan Anaya baji and Haniya appi who were smirking at her

Okayyyy they won't ask proper questions

"I'm not playing. I'll better play with Ruhana. Right baby?" I asked Ruhana who was looking around

"Yesh yesh." She replied and started clapping her hands

"That's not fair everyone will play. And no one will back out. I'm the bride so i decide. And you are playing." She said and sat down and that's when I heard

"What are we playing?" I heard his voice. I looked down and Ruhana who was in my lap rushed towards him

"MAMUUUU" she yelled. I looked up and saw him who was kneeling down to Ruhana's length

"Hey baby girl! How's you?" He asked her ruffling her hair

"Gud" she replied showing her teeth that haven't yet come

"Good. Good." He said and that's when he looked up and our eyes met. Not wanting to look at him I hurriedly looked down when I heard

"Ohh.. bhai you came now come and sit we are playing truth and dare." Manal said and got up from her place and starting walking towards him while I was playing with my fingers

"Huh!? And from when did you started calling me bhai?" He asked Manal

"From today as I realised that you are older to me" Manal replied

"Yeah yeah I'm older to you for more than 10 years right?" He asked sarcastically

"Hahah very funny." Manal rolled her eyes at him

"Leave that. Come we are going to get late for our game." She replied and they both started walking towards us

After a minute or two everyone were sitting in a circle. I was sitting in between Muskan and Manal while in front of me was Aisha di and Rumana appi while on their either side was occupied by their husband. Beside Manal was him and besides him was Ayan bhai.Yazan was sitting next to Rashid jeeju and besides him was Haniya appi

We all were about to start the game when we heard the girly voice shouting out loudly making everyone to close their ears

"Hiii everyone." She shouted making inside wearing a jeans and a top that reached above her knees and a scraf hanging in her neck

Everyone murmured a small hi while not looking so pleased by her being here. I looked up and smiled at her, while she ignored me and

"Can I join you guys?" She asked in her oh-so-sweet voice while battling here eyes at him

Muskan who was beside me was about to open her mouth when I kept my hand on her hand shaking my head in a no. She kept quite and started murmuring something which I couldn't understand

"Sure." It was Rumana appi who said that. After yelling a thank you she made her way towards me

"Excuse me, can you please get up I wanna sit beside Manal." She said while glaring at me

I looked at her confused and saw everyone looking at me while I saw Aisha di who was shaking her head in a no

"Sure." I replied and smiled and her while she was smirking as if she had won a lottery and everyone were shaking their head at me for doing this

I got up and went and sat in between Rumana appi and Aisha di when I heard both of them whispering to me

"Why did you get up?"

"You shouldn't have gotten up. It was your seat."

"Its okay." I replied and smiled at them and that's when I heard

"When will you understand Sara?" Rumana appi murmured to herself. I keep quite and saw both Manal and Muskan glaring at saadiya. I smiled looking at both of them and I knew they both will plan something against her before the engagement. While smiling I turned around and saw him looking at me with something in his black eyes. I hurriedly looked down

"Let's start." Faizal jeeju said and started spinning the bottle

The bottle stopped at Muskan and Haniya appi asked her a question. The process continued. Everyone who chose truth were asked something personal while those who chose dare were made to do funny things. I and him were the only person in this room who were not asked anything yet.

Rashid jeeju spinned the bottle and it stopped on him

"So...... my dear brother truth or dare?" It was Rumana appi who asked while smirking at him

"Hmm.. truth." He replied

"So... do you love anyone?" Rumana appi asked him while everyone including me were waiting for his answer

"I'll choose dare." He replied after some time

"No now you have to answer us no going back." Aisha di said while smirking at him

"Huh...I.. no." He replied shuttering

When he don't love anyone than why is he shuttering?

"Tell us the truth." It was Faizal jeeju who was grinning at him mischievously

"Fine... yes I love someone." He replied and my eyes were ready to pop out

He loves someone

"Awww it definitely would be me, right Zaim?"
