We reached my college and I turned to say my bye when my mom spoke,
"Be careful. Take care of yourself I'll come to pick you up just give me a missed call." My mom said and I smiled and nodded my head
"Okay mom. Assalamualaikum bye take care." I said
"Walaikumassalam." My mom replied and started her car and drove off while I was waving at her
I turned around to see where was my best friend. As I was looking around I saw her near a tree while she was typing something on her phone. I smiled and made my way towards her. Well she is the only niqabi in this college so it was easy for me to find her
"Assalamualaikum." I greeted her and she looked up to see me. Her black eyes were shining back at me
"Walaikumassalam. How's you?" She asked me while we both started making our way towards our classroom
"Alhumdulillah I'm good and you?" I asked as I saw many students were making their way towards the classroom
"Alhumdulillah, Alhumdulillah. All good." She replied and I could make out that she was smiling under her niqab
"Okay. Spill. What's going on? Why are you smiling?" I asked her curiously
"What? Can't I smile without any reason?" She asked me but I knew her better that there was something going on
"Okay? See its time for our class but you have to tell me once we finish our lectures. Okay Allah hafiz." I replied and waved at her when I heard her murmuring
"How did she know?"
'Coz I'm your best friend." I replied smirking
I turned around and made my way towards my class and saw that there were barely few seats left. I was checking an empty seat when I found my class mate Nouman waving at me.
I waved back but I was nervous beacuse I was befriend with him in school but in college its a whole new thing. I'm trying to maintain my distance with boys.
I was thankful when the seat next to him was occupied and I sighed in relief when I saw an empty seat next to a girl. I made my way towards her and sat down next to her and started removing my books.
The first period was English. I smiled. It was my favourite subject. The teacher entered the class and started taking attendance and than the lecture starts.

Phew!
What a hectic day! There was not even a single lecture that was free. Now I'm free to go home and I spotted my best friend near the same spot
"Assalamualaikum Manal. How was your day today?" I asked her and by the look on her face I could tell that she was as pissed as me
"Walaikumassalam. Please don't even remind me of today's day. It was hectic!" She replied
"Okay I don't even wanna ask even mine was the same. So now spill." I said eager to know what was going on
"What?" She asked me looking down pretending as if she don't know what I'm asking her
"Manal you better tell me before I die out of curiosity." I warned her pointing my fingure at her
"Okay okay cool down. Yesterday a boy came to see me and its a yes from them and its a......." She stopped halfway
"Its a...??" I asked her knowing fully that she was teasing me
"Yes from my side too." She replied and looked down
"Aww... mabrook girl I'm so happy for you... aww don't tell me you are blushing?" I teased her knowing fully that she was blushing
"What..no...I mean no im not." She replied shuttering
"Okay and I believe you." I replied rolling my eyes at her
"Okay so now what is my jeeju's name?" I asked her teasingly
"Abraan" she replied looking down
"Okay. And when is the nikkah?" I asked her walking along with her outside the gates of our college
"Well.. they want an engagement first and than after one month is the nikkah." She replied looking at me
"Okay and when is the engagement?" I asked her pulling out my phone from my pocket to call my mom
"After three days." She replied
"WHAT?? AFTER THREE DAYS? WHEN WILL YOU DO YOUR SHOPPING? AND DECORATION?" I asked her yelling slightly
"Calm down Sara. Everything is done. They want a simple engagement. And you know my cousins how they are. Every one is busy with my shopping." She replied smiling slightly thinking about her cousin I guess
"Okay than from now on no college. We will go shopping ourselves and please I know you would say that your cousins are doing everything than what's the need but there is. You know you are the bride so you should choose your own dress. And even I want a dress for myself. Okay?" I said and she was looking at me with wide eyes
"What?" I asked her when I saw her giving me that look
"Did you just say that you will miss college?" She asked me and started laughing
"Haha funny." I replied rolling my eyes at her
Well I'm not the one who would miss her college at any cost but I guess I just said it now and she is shock on hearing that
"Okay okay, sorry." She replied holding her ears
"Its okay yaar." I replied
"And please don't forget to call our drama queen other wise she would chop us into two for not taking her because...."I stopped
"SHOPPING WITHOUT HER IS IMPOSSIBLE" I and Manal both shouted together and shared a hi-5
"Okay than meet you at 5 at my place. Tell her to bring her car so that we can go together." I said to Manal as I saw my mom approaching us
"Okay. Allah hafiz." She replied and we shared a hug and she waved at my mom and greeted her
"Assalamualaikum chachi."
"Walaikumassalam beta how are you?" my mom asked her after replying to her salaam
"I'm good Alhumdulillah and you chachi?"she asked my mom
"Alhumdulillah beta. Allah's blessings is with us." My mom replied smiling at her
"Mama you know Manal is getting married in one month" I told my mom as I was not able to control myself any more
"Are waah! Mabrook beta." My mom congratulated her
"Jazakumullahu khairan chachi." Manal thanked my mom looking down
"Wa antum fa jazaku mullahu khairan." My mom replied
" So I think now my daughter will be mostly at your place?" My mom asked us looking between us
"No"
"Yes"
Both of us replied at the same time.
"And why won't you be?" She asked while keeping her hands on her hips
How should I tell her? Nobody knows what happened between me and.....
Sara stop thinking
"Hahah I was just kidding I will be there." I replied while playing with my fingers
"You better be." She replied and we saw that her father have came to collect her
"Okay than see ya. Bye chachi Assalamualaikum." She said and made her way towards her father's car
"Walaikumassalam." Me and my mom replied and I sat behind my mom and she started driving while I was lost thinking of what can happen in this one month
I really want to enjoy Manal's wedding but can I enjoy when I know I have to come face to face with the person I don't want to see ever in my life?
I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even knew that we reached home and my mom was calling me
"Sara" my mom's voice brought me back to reality
"Huh?" I replied looking at her
" Beta get down. Where are you lost?" My mom asked me
"Nothing mom." I replied and got down and rushed inside where I saw my brother watching some football match
"Assalamualaikum" I greeted and rushed inside my room without waiting for any reply
I shut the door and sat down thinking of what to do. I hurriedly got up changed into my comfortable cloths and started praying zohr salah. After I was done praying and receiting Qur'an I heard my mom calling me for lunch. I placed my Qur'an on the shelf and made my way towards the dinning room
Everyone was there on the dinning table I greeted everyone and sat down having my lunch. Once I was done with my lunch I saw the time there was more three hours for shopping. I just hate shopping but just for Manal I was showing that I was excited but from inside I was shouting at myself for such a bad idea
"Sara what have you done?" I whispered to myself and with that sleep consumed me
