"Hey, kids, there’s a lounge upstairs with a bed. You can continue this up there."
The Queen’s playful jab cut through Kade’s insistent kiss, his tongue a masterful invasion. My cheeks burned crimson, and I buried my face in his chest, avoiding the stares of the crowd.
But Kade and his parents were completely at ease. The King gave a slight nod. "That room was for your mother and me, but we've already told the Headmaster we won't be staying. We have to head back to the royal court tonight. Otherwise, those old fools will be grumbling at me at tomorrow’s meeting."
