William's POV
The frown on my face disappeared as soon as my old butler entered the study behind me.
I couldn't wait to ask him, "Well? Did you find anything?"
The butler shook his head. "The rumors are true. She grew up in the Shadow Pack, and her parents are both Omegas. But she doesn't look much like them."
The butler took three paintings from his coat and laid them out. If Nora were here, she would be shocked. The paintings were of her and her parents.
"She's too similar," I said, my hand slightly trembling. All the composure I had in front of my wife and daughter was gone. My fingers traced the face of the young girl in the painting. "I've never seen anyone so alike in all these years. Do you understand? It has to be her."
The butler's face was also filled with emotion.
