A pounding came from my door. I don't know how long the person outside had been at it, but after not getting an answer, the steady knocking had grown more frantic.
The continuous, heavier banging woke me up. A little annoyed, I lunged to get up and open the door to see who was disturbing my sleep so early in the morning.
I was sure I didn't have any classes scheduled this morning; there was only one in the afternoon.
