Dewey's POV I walked some distance from the warehouse, still feeling breathless, as if scorched by an invisible fire. I simply shifted into my wolf form, threading through the dilapidated, abandoned buildings. My paws struck the cracked concrete, dust danced in the wind, and the metal walls echoed with a low roar. After running freely at top speed for a while, and the inexplicable murky air in my chest finally dissipated, I shifted back into human form.
