Chapter 24
Occasionally Adam would deliver bouquet of roses to my office. Sometimes he would bring me out for dinner. He was so hot but why would he be with anyone like me? I couldn’t accept a relationship with my boss. He had a special place in my heart, I felt that I have known him for a long time.
The marketing team has been busy with the Annual Dinner preparation. Fortunately, we have an event organiser to help setting up the venue and arranged performance for the employees. All our hard work will be paid off tonight when the Annual Dinner ended. I have bought a new halted-neck golden gown with a pair of black pumps. I bought a golden feather masquerade to match with my golden gown. I have put on my best make up and it sparkles when I smile.
