Freya’s POV The safety of the underground shelter, the warm sanctuary Jax and the pack had built around me over the past few weeks, collapsed like a house of cards in a single afternoon. It all began when the last scouting unit of the Bloodmoon Pack arrived. Until now, Kaelen’s warriors had been guarding the surface borders, but with the war now on our doorstep, they too were forced to retreat into the bunker. When the massive steel doors opened and the dust covered warriors descended the stairs, the pack greeted them with cheers. I stood beside Jax, our hands loosely intertwined.
