Jax’s POV I didn't run. I didn't yell. When I stepped out of the security room with the hard drive in my hand, my steps were measured, slow, and deathly quiet. But the aura that surrounded my body was so thick and suffocating that the guards posted in the corridor instinctively pressed themselves against the wall and bowed their heads as I passed them.
