Ep.1 (Part 2)

Reyna : Um, Cap, are you pulling a joke right now?

Aimer : No! I'm serious about this!

Melan : S-So, there's a killer hiding in this ship??

Yumei : Possibly, but Aimer, were there any traces of weapons and such?

Aimer : A-Actually, I didn't check since I ran panickly straight to the button once I saw the body. *panting rapidly*

Yumei : Where is the body?

Aimer : At Electrical.

Zeno's mind : Hmm...

(They ended the meeting and everyone went to Electrical.)

[Scene : Electrical Room]

(As they witness the scene, Ravie was actually found dead, with the body lying in a pool of blood.)

Meteor : So it was true, after all...

(While Yumei checks Ravie's vital signs...)

Melan : Is he still alive? Please tell me he's still alive!

Yumei : Unfortunately...we were too late.

(All of them left shell-shocked after hearing Yumei's words.)

Melan : No way...

(Reyna and Cosmos cried and some of the male members just faced the other way. While Yumei investigates the scene...)

Yumei's mind : Ah, there's no weapon, as expected. Well, that was only a hunch. But from the looks of his wounds...

Yumei : It seems that he had been stabbed.

Zeno's mind : Stabbed...

Yumei : Aimer, the body was already like this before you called the meeting, right?

Aimer : Yes, I'm certain.

Yumei : So, it was done minutes ago...

Reyna : Hey... *sniffle* There was a blackout that happened earlier *sniffle*, did you guys find that odd?

Kruso : Yeah, it happened out of the blue.

Meteor : Maybe just as Aimer said, Turtle II has been used for so long that some of its systems are barely functioning.

Aimer : I did say that, but when I tried to fix the system back, some of the levers were just flicked off, and it came back to normal when I flicked all of them on.

Zeno : In other words, it's not both suicide nor a coincidence.

Aimer : Most likely.

(Meanwhile, as Meteor crosses his attention towards Mayven, he sees that Mayven was feeling weird.)

Meteor : Hey, Mayven, are you alright?

Mayven : ...my friend.

Meteor : Eh?

(Mayven instantly puts both of his hands on Meteor's shoulders and asks him a question.)

Mayven : Meteor, we're in a dream, right? There's no way all of this can be real, right? *voice shaking*

Meteor : Mayven, what are you----

Mayven : This is a hallucination, right? This must be!

Melan : Hey, Mayven, get a grip! *calms Mayven down*

Aimer : Mayven, calm down! *also calms Mayven down*

Mayven : This must be...There's no way Ravie would die...h-he's my best friend, of course... *sobbing*

Meteor : Damn it! If only I didn't slow my way down to Electrical... *clenched his fist in frustration*

Yumei : It's already been done. We can't reverse time. His injuries were also severe so he cannot be treated back to life. *frowned*

(Kruso faces away from the dead body as he feels vexed.)

Reyna : Cap, was there someone who snuck in here and tried to kill us?

Aimer : That's impossible. I've just checked my SSO seconds ago and the total entities in the ship were only 10, meaning all of us on the ship, including Ravie.

Zeno : !

Zeno : Wait, what did you just say---

(Interrupting Zeno's words, a series of beepings are heard from the pocket of Aimer's suit. He immediately reaches into his pocket and tries to get what's beeping.)

Aimer : Oh, it's my communication tube. Eh? A connection request from MIRA Headquarters?

Reyna : Are they about to give us another mission again? Not in this situation!

Aimer : I don't know yet. Let's go back to the Cafeteria. Melan and Meteor, you two carry Ravie's body to Medbay while we hear what the headquarters will announce.

Melan & Meteor : Roger!

(Mayven was still left on the ground, feeling devastated and suffering in agony.)

Yumei : Hey, Mayven, you can stand up now. I know you're sad, and we are too. But for now, let us gather in the Cafeteria for the meeting, okay?

Mayven : Okay...

[Scene : Cafeteria]

(Aimer inserted his communication tube in the hole system of the button that's meant for the tube only. And in an instant, the button separated into four parts and it presents a light holographic video coming from a tiny projector in the middle.)

Astra : This is Astra Starfall, Deputy Chief of Nebula Division, speaking. Team Freya, are you there?

Aimer : Astra? Why are you---

Astra : I know, I'll explain things later. But for now, I have some very important news to say. Oh?

(Astra notices the face of every member and gets a grasp of what happened.)

Astra : Looks like someone's already dead, huh?

Aimer : Eh? How did you...

Astra : I knew it.

Aimer : We really don't know what's going on. When we further investigated the situation, we knew it wasn't a coincidence nor a suicide. There's no mistake, there is a killer in this ship!

Astra : That's what I was going to talk about. Not only that, the killer gave us some hints about themselves.

Yumei : Hints?

Astra : Have a look at this.

(Astra switches her screen to a video clip in the hologram.)

Aimer : This is...

(Meteor & Melan later joined in after sending Ravie's body to Medbay.)

Astra : Yes, it's a CCTV clip from one of the places in the Hypernova Division Base, where your mission took place. Watch closely and see what happens.

(The video shows that a person was killed in front of the camera and the killer drags the body somewhere after being killed, but it cuts off and the video ends due to the camera barely working. However, both the killer and the victim's identity weren't revealed as their bodies were fully covered by their astronaut suits, and the video was showing colorless objects and events, implying that the camera was badly damaged.)

Cosmos : Wait, someone was killed? Was it recent?

Astra : No, it was done long ago.

Reyna : Does every CCTV camera in the place look like this?

Astra : About that, their security was asleep at that time and didn't notice that their cameras were infiltrated. Luckily, there was one camera that still works but has severe damage, and it was this one.

Aimer : Who was the killer and the victim?

Astra : As of now, there are still no clues that can tell who specifically both people are. But...

Aimer : What is it?

Astra : When one of their teams investigated the scene, they only found a badge. I believe it came from the victim.

Mayven : A badge? What kind of badge?

Astra : This badge.

(She shows a picture of a badge.)

Meteor : Wait, that's our badge.

Zeno : I knew it.

Aimer : Do you know who it is, Zeno?

Zeno : You know that we are complete here, including Ravie, but if they found a badge of our team, and it came from the victim...then that means..?

Astra : Yes, I am fully positive...

Astra : ...that one of you all... is an impostor!

Everyone : !?

(They were shocked, as if they didn't expect that it could be one of them.)
