CHAPTER 15
One night when I was leaving the stage following my last act, I ran into a familiar face.
"How's it going, beautiful?" he asked, smiling confidently.
"Mike!" I exclaimed. "When did you get in?"
"This afternoon. Just had time to get settled and come over here. How about having a late dinner with me?"
"That would be fine. Just give me a few minutes to change."
"That's good. I'll be waiting." I finished changing, then met Mike. We took a cab first to the restaurant, then to the hotel where he was staying. It was the same place as last time and he had a equally impressive suite.
