When it came to her sparring with me, Seleste was true to her word. She did not go easy on me. I learned quickly that Seleste earned her reputation. I walked to the training circle thinking I was going to go easy on her. Onyx kept telling me to take it seriously.
“Don’t underestimate mate. Dummy.”
“I’m not Onyx. I just don’t want to hurt her.”
“You can’t hurt her. She truly is awesome. Just give it your best or we will get embarrassed, and she will be mad at us. Don’t mess this up for us. She is starting to like us again.”
“Whatever Onyx. I am not going to hurt her.”
“I thought you agreed to listen to me more.” Ugh! I can’t deal with you. Don’t whine to me when she wipes the ground with you.”
Onyx ended our conversation and went to the corner of my mind, and covered his eyes with his
