I have been at the academy for a month now. We are getting ready to take a break and visit our families before the holiday break. I talk to my parents and my friends regularly. Ben has been taking on a lot of the Beta duties. We check in weekly. I am really happy to hear how well he is doing. I wish he could have attended the academy with me, but I would never think of separating him and his mate.
My last conversation with Ben was a little awkward. He was filling me in on the mating ball my parents held last week. A lot of our unmated found their mates, which is always a good thing. Rose did not have any luck. She was sad but had thrown herself into warrior training. She wants to make sure she is prepared for any challenge and Ben said she needs the distraction she gets from training hard
