We finish up and head back to the den. Surprisingly, today was pretty quiet. I have to remember that no one outside of the bear community or alliance knows the exact location of their den and most shifters and other species are afraid to enter their territory uninvited. So I am probably safe for now. We get back to the den in time for dinner. How I stayed awake enough to eat I will never know, but I know that I need to keep up my protein and stay hydrated. I noticed that the newly mated couples are not present. Good for them and us. As their bond gets stronger, so do Tamaska and me and frankly, we need all the boosts we can get for what’s coming.
