Mitchell looks away and leans on the counter. When he looks at me again, I can tell he’s just as flustered as I am. Do my eyes have the same effect on him as his on me? He chuckles in that nervous way a man does when aroused. He glances at me as though unsure of his next move. I know he’s holding back words as much as I am.
