The impact catapulted my body backward.

Voices muffled.
World tilts.
"Get your g*n!" I hear the warped tones.
I feel my body being pulled up by Star, who is shooting with her other hand like the damn terminator. I blink and bend to grab the g*n that I tossed on the ground, shielding my face from a spray of bullets. Tim is on fire, along with the men standing around him. Their screams echoing throughout my head, amplifying my pain. I can hear my breathing, my mind seeing everything at a slower time.
Dolly could have told me to stand back farther, just saying.
"Sugar sorry about that!"
