It rains. I look behind me, running through the tight alleyway of two large buildings. I expect to see him at any point, but I don't. I stop and try and slow my breathing, seeing if I hear anything. I have been running for a while now following Dolly's directions. Heartbeats fly by as I listen. I hear distant yelling and random commotions coming from the building next to me, but no close footfalls. Is he not following me then? I thought for sure he would have caught up to me.
