CHAPTER SEVEN BUD HINKS FROWNED OVER the file laid out before him on the screen. When he’d started cross referencing cases that all five involved parties had worked on, he hadn’t expected to turn up very many. He’d been right. With Officer Madris added into the mix, there were zero cases. So he took Madris out and tried again. The case number hit one hundred. Ish! The problem was that Sarge had touched just about everything the other officers worked on, providing advice and meeting with the family members of victims. And Gordyn and Bris had worked the same days and hours for years, so they caught a lot of the same cases.
