Sunlight once again wrapped its warm embrace around Robby’s skin as he stepped out of the wilderness and onto the worn dirt road. He listened intently, on pins and needles, ready to dive back to the cover of the forest should a vehicle drive by. Hesitant, Robby looked both ways as far as he could see down the road. To the right, the road bent and faded behind a cluster of trees. To the left, a broken and neglected fence led the way towards what appeared to be an open pasture of sorts. Robby followed the fence, hurriedly reaching a field overgrown with weeds and long grass. A swift scan sent him scurrying and rushing to the edge of the woods.
