Bellamy
Looking between Seth and Anton, all Bellamy felt was love. He turned looking to Seth, "Seth Volkov, I love you. I accept you and Cedar as my fated mates." Seth gently squeezed his hand, "Bellamy Greene, I love you. I accept you and Jax as my fated mates." Bellamy wanted to hug him, but there was still something left to do. "Anton Guerin, I love you. I accept you and Lev as my fated mates." Anton had tears in his eyes, his voice shaking as he replied, "Bellamy Greene, I love you, I accept you and Jax as my fated mates. I do want to know what changed though." Bellamy surged forward, hugging them both. Seth hugged him back, Anton hesitantly wrapping his arms around both the men.
After they both broke apart, Seth turned to Anton, "Me and Cedar need a little longer, but I do love you." Anton nodded, "I understand, we just met. I love you too." Bellamy frowned, "Is it just time or? Seth, I've known you a long time, is there something specific stopping you?" Seth turned away, sighing before turning back, "It's not me, it's Cedar. He accepts that Anton and Lev are fated for us, but he's still really worried. He says something is wrong with the way you both seem to have forgotten your pasts. I agree with that, it isn't odd to forget things in your childhood. Not remembering anything though, it's suspicious."
Anton closed his eyes, "No, I agree, I thought it was just me. If you also can't remember things, Bellamy, then we need to figure whatever this is out." Bellamy sighed, "Actually I might know something, we should go somewhere more private to talk." Both of them turned to him with clear confusion on their faces. Anton spoke up first, "We can go to my office."
Sitting in Anton's office with both of them staring at him slightly reminded Bellamy of being in trouble as a kid and sitting in the principal's office. "Okay, so I was talking with Jax after Seth left my room." He didn't miss the slight look of jealousy Anton gave Seth, 'none of that' he thought to himself. Turning to fully face Anton for a moment, "Jax wanted me to tell you I love you. Even if I was having trouble accepting you as a mate. I explained that I had trouble admitting that I love you, to you. Because our past was so bad. All of my memories of you were so bad. I couldn't remember anything good." He took the hand that Anton reached towards him. "Jax suggested he may be able to help, but if he broke a wall I had put up, then he wouldn't be able to stop what came through it. I agreed anyway, my childhood wasn't the bad part. At least that's what I believed." Seth reached forward, taking his other hand. Nervously, Bellamy continued. "At first it was nice. I remembered Anton, Jonah, Devin, and I all running through the Pard together. We liked sitting near the river, watching the guards on their patrols, or me and Anton sitting in my room with him helping me study about the packs so I could be informed when me and my dad left. The memories felt truly happy. The last one I saw, me and Anton were alone, way closer to the border than we should have been. There were intruders that day, we got dragged into it. The memory stopped before I saw everything, but it was bad.
The three of them sat silently for awhile before Anton spoke, "Are you suggesting whatever happened traumatized us badly enough that we stopped remembering?" Seth frowned, "If it were simply a matter of not remembering due to trauma, wouldn't Alpha Nate have told you about it during your memory recovery when you were training to become Alpha?" Anton bristled slightly, "Are you suggesting my father is keeping my past from me?" Bellamy shook his head slightly. "No. I'm confirming it. Starla and Desmond were in that memory. Whatever happened that day is far bigger than anyone wants us to know." Anton stared, there was anger and pain in his eyes, "I don't understand, it's not possible, think about it. The council gave us a potion to reverse any possible spells we could be under. We aren't under the effects of magic. The potion would have stopped that." Seth shook his head, "If I believed it was magic, then yes it would have. I don't, I think it's a form of therapeutic hypnosis. If it had been some spell, Jax wouldn't have been able to bring them back." Anton shook his head, "No, no, part of becoming an Alpha was being able to go through my memories with Lev, I would've remembered." Bellamy sighed, "Except you did that before the potion, if this is as bad as we think, would they really only use one method of keeping our memories down? Maybe part of it was the hypnosis thing, and some of it was magic." Seth stood, stretching, "Whatever is causing this we need answers, not guessing games. I could try looking into my connections, but for now let's get out of this office and do something productive?"
Anton
It had been days since Bellamy had turned his world upside down; first accepting him, and then revealing his own memories. Since then, Lev had been quiet, only really coming around when Anton was near Bellamy or Seth. Anton felt like he couldn't sleep, any time he tried to think about what to do about his future, all of their futures his whole body would shake. His heart would race, nothing that he came up with would help. Every single idea he had only felt like a small child trying to fix an adult's problems. "Talk to Alpha Nate." It was the first time Anton had heard anything from Lev when he wasn't near the other two. "If he's the one lying to us would that even do any good? We don't know why he's lying. We don't know anything." He sighed, growling. Lev whined, "Anton, your father loves you, but at the time you were a child. Whatever he did, it was to protect you, and it isn't protecting you anymore. He would want to help you."
Standing outside his father's office, Anton closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, before knocking. Nate's voice came through the door, "Come in." Anton walked inside, closing and locking the door behind him. "We need to talk." He saw his father sit up straighter, "Is there something wrong?" His eyes flicked toward the locked door before returning to his son. Anton walked forward, sitting before speaking. "What happened to me and Bellamy before he left the pard with his father back when we were children?" Nate stiffened, "I don't know what you mean, it was a long time ago." Lev pushed his way near the surface growling at Nate, Anton quickly interrupted. "Don't start that crap, I have been unreasonably angry and volatile since I was nine years old with no idea why. No idea why I was so scared, that the only thing I could do was be the scary thing to other people. I have been living afraid of myself for years. Believing it was only my own demons haunting me. I know better. I know I've met Council member Starla and council member Desmond before. Stop lying to me, I'm not a child anymore." He felt Lev, and used both of their Alpha strength to put power into their next words. "You will tell me what happened. That is an order." Nate was visibly straining to keep his head level, if he weren't an Alpha he'd be bowed over under the weight. "Alright, you've made your point, I'll tell you what I know. Just let me, let me warn you first."
Anton eased up, "What warning?" Nate's eyes filled with sorrow. "I don't know everything the two of you saw. All I know is the two boys that were returned to the Pard house that day. They were broken. They were traumatized and broken and I was terrified, all of us were. Me, your mama and Harvey. We didn't know what to do or how to help. Council member Starla was able to help a little with a magical barricade. It wasn't enough, we took you both to the council. They did what they could. In exchange, Council member Starla and Council member Desmond agreed to join the council. They sacrificed everything for you two." Anton leaned forward, "I'm sorry dad, we all need to know." Nate nodded, "What I know is you boys got past the guards patrolling the border, closer to where our border is currently. Council members Starla and Desmond were not on the council back then, so a group of three strangers, two fae and a vampire. I was told they were being chased by the vampires' former coven. He wanted to leave, they didn't like that, there was a battle and you two got involved. Starla brought the two of you to me sobbing, some of our warriors had raced to keep the fight off of our lands. She refused to hand either of you to anyone except me. You were both blood soaked, but there were only minimal wounds on the two of you. You refused to talk, or eat, or move unless being moved. You never stopped anyone from doing anything with or to you. We took you to the council to try and save you. That is all I know for sure. I do have reports of that day but I have no idea how accurate any of them are." By the end there were tear tracks down his cheeks. "I'm sorry son, I didn't know what else to do. We were desperate to help. I didn't know it was hurting you." Anton shot out of his chair, racing around his desk. "I love you dad, I know you want to protect me. I'm sorry."
Seth
Stepping away from the door, Seth barely kept Cedar under control as he made it out of the pard house. He managed to get to the trees before Cedar burst from him snarling. His mates had been attacked and had been in danger. He wanted to kill. "Easy" Seth sounded scared in his mind. It was the only thing that slowed Cedar, "I know your angry, I am furious, but the best way to protect them is to be there for them. This is all new territory for all of us. The only way to keep them safe is to be with them. You heard exactly what I heard, whatever happened is what changed him. We can accept our mate. We can keep our mates safer if we all work together." Cedar laid against the nearest tree. "If you're sure, I accept your judgement. I'm with you, no matter what." Seth felt relief wash through him. "We need to tell Anton soon, before anything else gets too crazy." Cedar growled softly, "After I finish running, I need to get this out." Seth wanted to argue, but conceded. "Alright. You can stay out awhile longer." Cedar stood, shaking off and took off running.
Cedar had been running for about twenty minutes when a sleek, dark, shape ran past him in the opposite direction. He spun immediately. "Jax" He took off after his mate, losing him in the bushes. He walked around the same few trees before a soft purring from above caught his attention. He turned confused eyes to see Jax lazily lounging on a branch twitching his tail. As soon as Cedar's eyes met Jax's, the panther's purr increased in sound. Jax stood and jumped down, landing gracefully a few feet away from him. Bellamy took over, standing where Jax had just been. "You okay Cedar?" Cedar walked over, nudging Bellamy's hand. Bellamy reached out, touching Cedar's fur. Cedar circled Bellamy, "He's handsome." Seth rolled his eyes, "He's human and you are a wolf that is so never going to work." Cedar huffed slightly, "You may be an adult but you do not know everything." Seth caused them to shift with the rush of conflicting thoughts in his head. "Never think those thoughts again." He practically snarled the thought at Cedar who just chuckled.
Bellamy took his hand, "Hey, are you okay? You ran right past me back into the house." Seth took his hand, "Yeah, yeah, Cedar needed a run, I'm alright. Help me find Anton?" Bellamy nodded, "Sure, but uh maybe clothes first?" Seth looked down and started laughing, "Yeah your probably right, clothes first."
The two of them walked together to the pard-house. Bellamy dragged a confused Seth to his room, tossing Seth one of the wolf's shirts. "Don't judge me." He grabbed one of his own and two pairs of sweats. He turned to see Seth grinning at him. "Not one word, just get dressed." Seth started laughing as he dressed himself, "Sure thing kitty." Bellamy growled, "Ouch I steal one shirt and I'm demoted to kitty again." Seth grinned, "Well you are a giant cat, kitty does fit, but your right we had come to an understanding, you are my love. Do try to forgive my indiscretion." They both doubled over in laughter.
The two walked to Anton's room, Seth knocking. Seth heard Anton calling through the door, "Come in!" Seth opened the door, immediately distracted by Anton sitting shirtless on his bed, "Oh, hey, come in." Bellamy closed the door behind himself, walking in just behind Seth. Seth immediately went to Anton, sitting beside him. "There's something I need to tell you." Anton nodded, holding out an arm for Bellamy to join them. Once they were all curled up together, Seth turned to look Anton in the eyes, "Anton Guerin, I love you. I accept you and Lev as my fated mates." Anton froze, his eyes were wide as he stared at Seth, "You?' Bellamy elbowed him, "Would you answer him." Seth chuckled as Anton turned to face him, "Seth Volkov, I love you. I accept you and Cedar as my fated mates." Seth grinned, pulling Anton to him slowly. The kiss started soft, barely a brushing of lips, Seth moved. pressed them closer together, his tongue flicking questioningly against Anton's lips. Anton parted his lips. Suddenly, Anton pulled away, his hand on Bellamy's wrist. Bellamy had started to stand, now he was looking back at the two of them, his cheeks dusted with a light pink. "Uh I, I'm sorry. I thought I should give you privacy." Seth rolled his eyes, "Bellamy, we aren't going to officiate that part of the bond, not without everybody doing a crap ton of talking. Get in here, enjoy the affection a little." He paused, "Unless you are actually uncomfortable, that is okay. We will understand." Bellamy shook his head, slowly moving back into their arms. "I uh just wasn't ready for anything further."
Bellamy
The Pard had been in an uproar, more wolves had shown up and were all working with the panthers to combine the homes, it had been more hectic than Bellamy could ever remember it being. Bellamy was sitting in his room when the note slid under his door.
Dear, Mr. Bellamy Greene
Future Northern Pard Kekal
Future Northern Pack Luna
This is an informal summons to the council. Your mates will receive their own summons as well. Each summons grants access to three individuals. This summons is in regards to events in yours and others within your pard's past. We are ready to provide answers, and would like to apologize formally for any and all hardships caused. We would also like to offer our halls for the officiating of you and your mates bond.
Sincerely, The Council,
Starla and Desmond.
Bellamy sat staring at the flit of paper. He would have to talk to both of his mates about who his additional two people should be. Theoretically, they should be his Delta's, but none of them had ever talked about how to handle that, no one had mentioned his future Luna or future Kekal duties. He had the sudden overwhelming feeling that he was doing something wrong. He hadn't tried to bring up any of his future duties. He hadn't integrated himself as a Luna or Kekal at all. He was starting to feel sick, his vision was blurring. Would they abandon him because he hadn't been more proactive? Jax was trying to say something in his mind, but he just couldn't manage to hear what he was saying. Jax's words sounded like a half volume T.V. a few rooms away.
His door burst open, he had the vague image of Seth and Anton rushing toward him. He could feel them pulling him into their arms, he distantly registered that he was shaking, his entire body was in tremors, his heart was racing. He was having an anxiety attack. It had been years since he had had one that was this bad. He heard another voice, it took longer than it should have for him to register that it was Gregory, "Alpha's, can I help?" He could hear Seth growl softly, but he heard Anton, "Please Greg." He felt a different hand take his hand, pulling his eyes to Greg's, "Hey Bellamy, I need you to breathe with me, will you do that for me please." He felt the calmness surround him, Delta ability. He could feel his heart slowing back to normal. The tremors calmed along with his breathing. He looked at the two Alphas holding him, tears immediately coming back to his eyes, "I am so sorry." They immediately held him closer, each trying to reassure him. Greg sighed, "Alright you three everyone chill." Both Seth and Anton's heads shot up, shock on their faces. Greg smiled, calming the room again. "Alright, now that I have your attention, Bellamy, are you able to tell your mates what had you so upset? Can you tell me?" Anton grabbed the note on the bed, "I'd say it's exceptionally obvious." Greg glared, "Alpha, I respect you, but be quiet and let Bellamy speak. He turned back to Bellamy. "Bellamy, sweetie, what happened?"
Bellamy couldn't help the slight giggle that came from him watching his Alphas be upset at Greg, "I feel like I'm failing both of you." Before he could say anything else, they were comforting him again. Gregory sighed. "With all due respect you two. Shut up or I'm finding gags." They both stared in open-mouthed horror. Bellamy immediately started talking to stop a fight. "I'm the future Kekal, and Luna. I haven't talked to either of you about what my responsibilities would be. I haven't been learning anything. I am failing. If I'm not failing you two, I am failing our people." There was silence for a few moments before Seth spoke, "Love, this is all happening far faster than either of us were prepared for. You currently cant learn your duties because the former, and current acting Luna and Kekal, haven't gotten all of the things organized to start teaching you." Anton interrupted, "We have been talking about your Delta's, though, we came to a sort of compromising idea. Our idea is that you would still have two wolves, and two panthers, but one of each would be primary, and accompany you on official meetings; the other two would be closer to backup. Maybe you could take a look at our lists, decide who you want?"
Bellamy glanced up, to where Greg was leaned against the door frame making sure things stayed calm. "I know who I'd pick for my primary panther, Delta." They both followed his eyes, a grimace forming simultaneously on their faces. "Him?" Anton groaned. Bellamy nodded, "My Delta's have to be able to hold their own against you two as well. He just did that, Greg? Would you be willing to be my Delta?" Gregory stood up straight, turning to look at the group in the room. "Are you sure, without even looking at who all of the options are?" Bellamy nodded, "you have been protecting me as if you were my Delta for years. I trust you." Gregory stayed quiet for a few moments before walking forward and kneeling to make eye contact with Bellamy. "I would be honored to serve you Bellamy, my Kekal."
