Chapter 3, Time for a shower

Juniper POV

I walk to the window and look outside. On the ground, I can see three men. One of them constantly checks my window. I sigh, that's not gonna happen. Plus, I can smell two more men standing by my door outside.

I sit down on my bed and smell my clothes. They smell really bad. I did not want to take new clothes so I just put my old ones on. Luckily, my bedroom has a bathroom. I walk over to it and close the door behind me. I open the shower tap and, with my clothes still on, I step under the shower. The water is warm and feels so good on my body.

After a while, I hear someone knocking on the door. Juniper it's me Hannah. I came in to check how you are. I decide to ignore her and keep showering. Efraïm POV

Aargh. That should not have happened. I used my alpha voice on her. I try to calm myself and walk outside. I see some kids from the pack playing with Oliver. My girl was supposed to play there with them. I pray to the moon Goddess and ask for her to take care of my girls.

Oliver comes over to me and puts his hand on my shoulder. How about some distraction, Efraïm? There is some time to train before dinner. I nod and follow Oliver to the training grounds.

After two hours of training, I walk inside for dinner. First I walk over to Mrs. Sheen. Sarah, could you bring Juniper some food? She nods and takes a plate and takes it upstairs. Juniper POV

Efraïm takes a chair and puts it right in front of me. He looks concerned. I feel guilty right now, he wants to be there for me and I push him away. Wait Juniper, you can not think stuff like this. He will dump you when he is done with you, and you will be alone again.

I close my eyes and feel how Hannah cleans my wound. Juniper, you're still weak from the wolfsbane, so it will take longer to heal. I nod but keep my eyes closed. I hear Hannah leave. I open my eyes and look in Efraïms' green eyes. He steps up from his chair and sits on the bed, still looking at me.

Efraïm POV

This woman is so beautiful. But extremly stubborn. I see Juniper turn around to look outside. The doors are open and a small wind is cooling inside.

I would love to touch her, but after what happened I don't think it is smart to do so. I sigh and walk over to the balcony. The weather is great, I can see the sun going under from here. I turn around and look at Juniper. I can feel she is hurt, but why won't she share with me? We are made for each other. She must feel it to.

I walk over to the corner of the room and sit down on a chair. I see Juniper's eyes following me everywhere. I close my eyes and calm my mind.

Suddenly, I hear something move and I hear Juniper say. Well, let's do it. After this it's done and I can leave. I open my eyes and see Juniper without her clothes laying on the bed. I raise my eyebrows. Pardon me?

Ik grab a blanket and trow it over Juniper's body.
