“Stop doing that!” I cautioned my inner wolf.

I couldn't get my mind past the scenes from last night.

Captures of his glorious abs and muscular arms invaded my innocent thoughts as I sat in the classroom, staring into the air like he was right in front of me.

He just knew the right places to touch me. I could still perceive his cologne around me.

So much. Each time I close my eyes, all I see his is naked body in front of me.

Gosh…I am going crazy..

“Get out of my head,” I suddenly screamed out, forgetting I was in the classroom full of students.

The whole class stared at me and I felt so embarassed.

I covered my mouth almost immediately. “Hey, are you okay?” Jasper's voice came along.

“What's wrong? Rough night? He asked.

Really rough if I could answer him genuinely. Definitely not a night I wish to repeat..

“I didn't know you were in class already,” I spoke in pretence.

But Jasper was one hell of a trouble maker and nosy sometimes. He could tell something was off and he kept looking at me like I was going to vomit words right at him.

“Are you going to talk or do I have to trouble you for it? Who is messing with my best friend's head?” He jested.

I smirked.

“She doesn't need to talk. I bet we all know what's up with her,” a tiny voice from behind intruded.

Her shoes were really high and shiny and the butterfly tattos on her arm made me wonder who the barbie girl on blonde hair might just be.

The girls who stood behind her burst into laughter like it was rehearsed.

“So looks like new girl got a lot going on for her……or what do you think, girls?” The blonde girl said and gave me this really harsh look.

“Hey, you girls need to watch it. I don't think she wants your company, Alexis,” Jasper interrupted.

Alexis. Now I remember her. She was the brute girl that enters the class like some gang leader. I hardly see her walk alone.

“This is girls talk. Jasper, so you should excuse ourself before this goes south,” Alexis, said and suddenly the other girls confronted Jasper like a fight was about to break out.

I had to signal to Jasper to leave respectfully.

My wolf suddenly gave a nudge and whispered..…”They don't look welcoming,”

“New girl, we need to talk,” Alexis spoke out all of a sudden, taking me by fhe hands as she led me outside.

Confused.

“What could this be about?” I thought in my head.

They took me to a field and circled around me..”What's this?” I said in a low tone.

“Oh, shut it, the queen lady does the talking and you just stay mute and listen!!” One of the girls who had a burnt left cheeks shouted.

My wolf trembled…

Before I knew what was happening, one of them pushed me to the other and they kept passing me around till I felt to the ground.

‘We know your story, new girl. You know I really don't pity you,” Alexis voiced out, walking around in circles like she was lecturing me and I had no choice but to pay attention.

My attention drifted to my knees. I felt a very sharp pain like my bones had shifted from its rightful place.

“I pity the old man at home,” her words suddenly got me…

Is she talking about my Dad now? I became furious but I dare not make a move.

The other girls seemed ready to pounce if I did anything suspicious and the leader, Alexis, seemed like a bottle of rage waiting to break on my head.

“What do you want from me?” I tried to speak offensively but my voice didn't seem to make any fearful impact.

Instead they all looked at me in disgust. “Tasha or whatever your name is, you are absolutely nothing. No one notices you. No one cares about you. You don't mean a thing anywhere. You are just a trash passed around by your sick ass parents…”

“Just look at where you end up..I'm sure your Dad is already worn out, having you around…or do you think he us actually cool having you as a a burden around him?” Alexis lashed out.

Her words were cold and harsh. It was as though she had made her thorough research on me and it was time to make me feel it all.

I became saddened and I gnashdd my teeth in anger and frustration.

“Who are you all?” I cried out, hoping they would stop the mockery already and let me be.

“There is no need to get all tensed, new girl. I am only trying to help you out,” Alexis whispered as he moved closer to where I was.

I could see the hairs on her skin grow longer and darker….”You see, we are wolves, just like you, but better and stronger…and all of these girls answer to me cause I lead them….”

“Join us and I'd make the whole CrossHigh respect and fear you….” She said in a slow tone.

“We are the Reddies and this school is run by us. You are either for us or against us,” one of girls whom they call Leshie added.

She stood close to Alexis like she was her assistant.

I paused.

A cult?

I became scared…”Let’s call Roman,” my wolf whispered. Immediately, I tried to establish a mind link hopefully Roman, could be in school and able to hear me.

“What are you trying to do? Don't even try anything funny…” Leshie warned like she knew exactly what I was trying to do.

“Please can you just give me time to think about this? Please…..” I pleaded like my life depended on it.

Actually it does…Whoever these girls were, they weren't going to make it was for me..

“I give you just 48 hours to give me your answer…new girl, “ Alexis teased and bursted into a wicked laughter afterwards.

“Else it would be the end of you,” she said, giving a sign with her hand, like she was slitting her throat.

I fidgeted……
