How I got back to the house that very day still remain a mystery.

Was it my inner wolf? She was as quiet as ever. Not even ready to hear me or say anything.

Last thing I remember was Alexis threatening to end my life if I didn't give an answer…

I had struggled to leave the house very next day. Even though it was weird I never saw Dad before leaving the house.

“I just have to show up and act normal,” I whispered to myself as I approached the classroom.

And suddenly I felt a whoosh of air blow my hair across my face.

“Hey, babysister….I hope you rested well? It was beautiful watching you sleep…” Roman spoke in a soft tone.

I sighed..A sigh of relief…

My wolf suddenly seem excited at his presence….”It has to be him then, be must have brought me home..”

“So are you going what you were doing on the school field all alone? Did something happen to you?” He spoke ina concerned tone..

Those girls must have left and cleaned their tracks before he came. There is no way I'd tell him some girls try to bully me into joining them, that would only make more mess for me.

“Uhmmm…I'm fine. Thank you for coming to get home. I just lost it, guess I'm still trying to get my hang around the school,” I said whilst facing down.

I felt his hand reach for my face when Jasper suddenly bumped into the scene..

“Yo!!”

Roman was really swift to make sure Jasper's body didn't make any contact with him.

“I'm sorry..I didn't mean to….” Jasler stuttered but Roman didn't pay any attention to him..

“I'd see you around, babysister,” Roman said as he walked away, his hands dipped inside his pockets.

“What the…..What the f**k didnI just hear?” Jasper exclaimed, adjusting his bandana as usual.

“Did I just hear him call you his sister? What's happening? When did you get the sexiest boy as a friend and even a brother?!” He said, his mouth agaped afterwards.

“Roman is my stepbrother…I just found out two days ago…” I answered, wondering how many more questions I still need to answer.

I couldn't stop replaying what happened at the school field. What answer was I supposed to give Alexis when she comes?

I can't join a cult. Dad would be so mad and disappointed if he finds out….

“That's actually dope. I mean, looks like you and Alexis might just get super close,” Jasper interrupted.

“Alexis? The same Alexis?” I said, with my eyes wide opened.

“What are you talking about?”

“You don't know Alexis is madly in love with Roman? She always want to be where he is and speaking of the devils, there they are…” Jasper signaled to me to look back.

I could see Alexis drooling over Roman where he stood. Her hands were out around his shoulder and her thighs resting on his waist side as he suspended them with his muscular arms.

“f**k!!” I shouted without realizing.

“What?” Jasper asked.

“Nothing… can we just go inside?” I replied, eager to just leave and not see what next could happen.

“I hope you still coming for my birthday party later tonight? I don't want no excuse, Tasha,” he uttered.

Geez. I almost forgot.

I nodded in response like I was clearly in the know and had it planned…

Pfff…..

I sat there quietly whilst the lecture was ongoing. I could sight Leshie from afar staring at me like something crazy was about to happen in the class.

It wasn't just her. Virtually all the girls were doing the same. “Just calm down, Tasha..they can't do nothing,” I said to myself.

Before I knew what was happening, one of the girls hit my table so hard as she walked past and my pen dropped to the ground.

I was about to pick it when I realized my butt was already stuck to the seat and any further move could tear off my skirt.

I looked around and right there on Alexis face was one waiting to laugh out hysterically at my misfortune….

“They planned this…we have to get at them back,” my wolf suddenly snarled from within.

Roman didn't seem to be a regular in class..just swooping in to get the girls attention and off he goes, like some king with subjects drolling to behold his once in a while presence.

Jasper, on the other hand, seem to be sneaky this very minute, texting on his phone like it was some serious business than the lecture ongoing. My biggest guess would be, broadcasting his so called party to the entire school.

I felt really sad and desolate at that point. I was a sitting disgrace waiting to be mocked by the whole class.

I tried adjusting my butts to the sides but it was as though I was making it worse.

Whoever did this on my seat really took his time to make sure I was locked in!

The lecture ended and I was just glad I wouldn't have to face a colossus shame.

“Let’s see how you get out of this one, new girl,” one of the girl hissed and walked away.

Jasper had already stood up, signaling that I should meet him outside, ‘If only he knew how unfortunate I was feeling already…”

“Roman….” My wolf uttered.

“No….”

Damn…his naked image flashed through my head that very awkward minute again and I smacked my lips.

“No no no..I am.not reaching out to.Roman for this….” I said out loud right in the class.

“You don't have to….” I heard this calm voice standing right in front of me.

It was this tall dark guy whom I could bet I had sen a couple of times in class but never spoke.

“How lo..”

“Don't have to say anything…I'm just here to help you,” he said.

He brought out a bottle of warm water from his backpack..”Its gonna hurt a little,” he said.

He poured it on my chair and without a word, pulled me up almost immediately…

“Ouch..”

“You are fine…”

“I'm Christian by the way….” He said, extending his hands for a shake but a message beep on my phone distracted me.

It was a message from my Dad….

It reads “Leave the house and go stay with our mom now!”
