Some time had passed since the end of the fashion show. A little loud noise was still heard from the rest of the audience who were leaving the venue. Mrs. Valerie repeatedly expressed her delight at how the event went, and when Emmeline apologized to her for anything that happened accidentally in the middle of their event, Mrs. Valerie repeatedly said it all added to the beauty of the event.
"I told you, I don't like anything too rigid and technical, and what you did with Anna earlier, even though I know it started as an accident, but it adds to the life of the show. Oh, I really like it. I couldn't hold myself back in all the emotions that were created earlier, Miss. You made this fashion show the most impressive of all events I've ever held before." Mrs. Valerie wiped away the few remaining tears that remained near the corners of her eyes with a laugh that was both happy and enthusiastic as if she had just received a surprise.
Emmeline welcomed the appreciation with a happy smile as well. Meanwhile, Annaliese, Chloe, Lea; Emmy didn't know where they were, because she only saw her parents who were a few meters away from her, chatting with one of their friends.
Emmeline looked around. Everyone was busy with their respective activities.
"Ah, let's relax for a while, Miss. Let's take a break and chat. Come on." Mrs. Valerie invited Emmeline to sit down and talk together.
Meanwhile, Lea Karfis, seemed to be walking around looking for someone backstage. What happened in the middle of the event seemed to have really touched and stunned her. She hoped to get a chance to meet the model who seemed so close to Emmeline.
Lea directed her gaze enthusiastically to one point after a while of searching. "Miss!" she exclaimed.
Annaliese, turned to her swiftly. Annaliese looked cheerful and friendly when she saw Lea walking briskly towards her.
"Hi, you look really impressive," said Lea matter-of-factly as soon as she got in front of Annaliese.
Annaliese smiled a little shyly. "Ah, thank you, Miss. It's ... not really me, but the great Miss Karfis. She made everyone touch. She also made my feelings a million times better by talking to her."
"Ummm," Lea nodded her head with a smile. She saw the admiration in Annaliese's eyes as she spoke of Emmeline. "You seem to admire Emmeline. Are you a fan of Karfis & Vin too?"
"Ah, yes, Miss. I'm a fan of Karfis & Vin. Oh, if I may ask, who are you?"
Lea smiled. She then reached out her hand inviting Annaliese to shake hands. "I'm Lea Karfis. Emmeline's twin sister. We're not identical twins, so don't be surprised if we don't look alike."
"Ah?" Annaliese looked utterly surprised. One hand covered her slightly gaping mouth while the other shook Lea's hand. "I just found out that Miss Emmeline has a twin sister. Ah, this is really surprising. But how amazing you two are. Miss Lea, nice to meet you. I—"
"Miss Lea Karfis!" cried a voice from some distance away. Anna and Lea stared intently at the source of the voice. Chloe, seemed to be walking closer at a brisk pace. "Why are you here, Miss Lea?" Chloe asked Lea. "Em ... ah! Look! Mrs. Jeanne is looking for you!" Chloe pointed excitedly at someone standing a few meters away from them. Lea looked in the direction Chloe was pointing. Sure enough. Her mother seemed to be looking at her. "Em—hurry up, Lea. She's looking for you. Looks like there's something important. Hurry up!" Chloe said with urgency and persuasion.
"Ah, you're right, Chloe. All right then," said Lea. She glanced at Anna. "We'll talk again if we have the chance. I'll go first, okay?!"
"Ah, okay, Miss Lea."
Chloe heaved a long sigh of relief as she looked in the direction Lea passed, before then at Annaliese. A trace of a cheerful smile was still on Annaliese's face because of Lea, and that smile faded when she found Chloe, looking at her with a curious look.
"Why are you looking at me like that, Miss Chloe?" asked Annaliese with an astonished expression.
"What did you just discuss with Miss Lea?"
"What did we talk about? We haven't had much time to talk. She's only just introduced herself and—ah, I just found out, that Miss Emmeline has a twin sister. Why didn't you tell me about it before, Miss Chloe?"
Chloe raised her eyebrows. "Why should?"
"Ah, that's right. Why did you have to tell me," said Anna. Chloe rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah, Miss Lea also seems like a very nice person. Am I right? She was very kind to me. She came to me to greet me, then suddenly complimented me. She introduced herself very nicely, and— "
"Ah, enough," interrupted Chloe, starting to get dizzy with Anna's much talk. "How's your leg?"
"I am better."
"Miss Karfis has asked me to make sure your leg is completely healed, so after this, we will return to my house, and I will call the doctor to the house while you rest." Chloe cleared her throat as she straightened herself. "Ehm! You did great, Anna. You and Miss Karfis made the show turn around quickly, but it still worked."
Annaliese smiled brightly. "I didn't expect things to turn out like this either. I had prepared beforehand if Miss Karfis would scold me. But it didn't. Everything turned out to be very moving. It's all because of Miss Karfis!"
Chloe, looked at Anna's innocent cheerfulness for a moment with a sympathetic look, before then asked after a while, "Tell me, what did Hazel tell you?"
Annaliese gasped. She raised her eyebrows swiftly. "Em—em—no. It's nothing."
Chloe took a deep breath, finding that it seemed like Annaliese wouldn't tell her. She then switched to another activity. Still in front of Annaliese, she said, "Okay. Now let's see how the news circulates about today's fashion show. Journalists usually cover and report on our events quickly." Chloe opened her phone screen. Notifications from her social media came in, before she could open the news she wanted to find. Chloe opened her social media for a moment, before then shrieking weakly in shock and almost even dropping her own phone, "Oh my gosh. What is this?" she cried softly.
Annaliese was also surprised to hear that. "What happened, Miss Chloe?"
"Oh, my God," Chloe didn't answer Anna's question, but instead covered her mouth with one hand, while her other hand was still scrolling through the posts of someone whose account she followed. "Lea, Lea, my God. What's she doing?"
"What's wrong, Miss Chloe? Why do you look panicked?"
Annaliese couldn't help being curious, so she finally approached enthusiastically, wanting to join in on the look at what had made Chloe look like a confused person. Annaliese pressed herself against Chloe, and—
"Oh, my! That? That? Aren't those pictures of Miss Emmeline and—ah, my! Corbin!" Annaliese shrieked.
