Corbin took his phone again. He found Emmeline's number quickly and pressed the call button without delay.
"Hello, Corbin," said Emmy over the other end of the phone.
Corbin smiled. "Good morning, Emmy."
"Good morning."
"I was hoping that after meeting Howard, you still had a good night's sleep."
Emmeline was heard chuckling. "You calm down. Fatigue has put me to sleep. How about you?"
"Hm. Even if it's only for a while but it's enough to wake me up refreshed this morning. Emmeline, I want to see you today."
"Um? Are you serious?" Emmeline said. "Then come to the office."
"You want me to come to the office?"
"Em ..." Emmeline's words sounded a bit sluggish for a moment, "yes, Corbin. Just come to the office if you want to see me. I'll be waiting for you," Emmeline said.
