First day at Angel Academy

972 Words
As Ari and Ana packed their bags to go to Angel Academy, they thought about what their mother had said. "Powers?" Ana asked. "Yes, apparently we have powers we didn't know about. Shut up and finish packing. I want to go to bed. We have to get up early to go to the Academy tomorrow." Ari complained as she zipped up her suitcase. The next morning was sunny. As they got dressed, they wondered what Angel Academy was going to be like. Ari hoped it was going to be like one of her favorite books, Vampire Academy, while Ana hoped it would be like Harry Potter. "Ugh! When are we going to leave!? I want to get this day over with already!" Sighed Ana in exasperation. "Okay let's get going then, girls," Maia said. "Okay, we'll be in the car waiting then," Ari called heading outside. "Wait in the car? Oh no! You can't get to the Academy by driving! Ha-ha" Maia laughed. "What do you mean mom?" Ana asked. " Angel Academy is in another dimension. Come on I'll show you how to get there." Explained Maia. Ari and Ana followed their mom out to the back yard where they saw a portal. "Step through girls, I'll be right behind you." She told them. Ari looked at Ana in astonishment while Ana walked through. Ari was hesitant about it, then she heard her sister yell "Stop being a baby and walk through already." "Oh shut up!" Aristophonese said annoyed as she walked through the portal, Maia laughed to herself at her daughters. When they were all through Aristophonese and Ana couldn't help but gawk at their new home for the next five years. Headmistress Hathaway met them at the front door and said, " Ready to see the Academy and your room? You will be roommates and you have a very nice view of the quad. You start class in one hour. Here are your schedules" (Ana and Aristophonese schedule-- 1st Hour- History of the World 101-- Mr. Tanner Rm. 205-- 8:00 am 2nd Hour- Life Skills-- Headmistress Hathaway Rm. 110-- 9:00 am 3rd Hour-- intro to Writing-- Mrs. Scott Rm. 309-- 10:00 am Lunch-- 11:00 am 4th Hour-- Equestrian-- Mr. Martin-- Barn/Rm. 104 OR Choir-- Mrs. Thorn Rm. 206-- noon 5th Hour-- Powers-- Mr. Garcia Rm. 216-- 1:00 pm 6th Hour-- Math-- Ms. Hamilton Rm. 412-- 2:00 pm 7th Hour-- Spanish-- Mr. Duke Rm. 100-- 3:00 pm Dinner at 6:30 pm) "As you can see you have all the same classes and that will change either next year or when you get your powers, but for now it's the same as any freshman." As they toured the school Ana couldn't wait to start class, Ari, on the other hand, wondered what her powers would be. "Here's your room girls. Get unpacked and change into the uniform. You can accessorize however you want, but you must be in the school uniform. I'll see you in second hour." Headmistress Hathaway said smiling as she walked away from them. The uniforms for girls are white or black short-sleeved shirts with black or white skirts with white and black legging and ankle-high one-inch boots. For the guys, it's black or white button-up shirts with a black undershirt and black slacks with tennis shoes. They hurried to get ready for class so they could get out and spend time with their mother before she had to leave. They found their classes and then went to hang out on the quad for a little while. "Mom, when will we see you again?" Ari asked. "Yeah, we've never been this far away from you," commented Ana. " I'll see you both Sunday on parent's day, I promise." Replied their mother. "Mom, why did you decide to enroll us now?" Asked Ana. "Well, girls it started two months ago." ~Maia's flashback two months ago~ Maia walked past her daughter's bedroom door on her way to go lay down, when she noticed a light coming out from under their door. She opened the door and saw Ana glowing and realized that their powers were starting to develop. The next morning Maia called Angel Academy and talked to the headmistress, a few weeks later while the girls were sleeping when the headmistress arrived and witnessed what Maia had described, but this time it wasn't just Ana glowing; both girls had been glowing. Ana was glowing a dark red crimson, while Aristophonese was glowing a light pink rose color. Maia and the headmistress then decided to enroll them both at the academy but it would take about a month to get them in with the twins being so young. ~back at the academy with the girls~ change "Oh so it's like we're yin and yang basically, right mom?" Asked Ari. "Nah duh, dork. Did you not hear that your powers showed up right after mine?" Replied Ana. "Yes, Ari that's right. And Ana don't be mean to your little sister. Oh! I've got to go! I love you both and I'll see you soon." Maia said as she kissed her daughter's goodbye. ~author note~ *I hope you like it so far. I have to thank my sister who inspired me to do this book by telling me some of her dreams. I love you, sis, you're the best! Please tell me if you like it and give some ideas for more chapters. I'm hoping to do at least six books one book for each year. And I would be very grateful for ideas, names, anything that would be helpful. I'd love for your input. Thanks and I hope you like ?*
