Chapter 7 Sydney's POV. I eyed the horrendous beauty who kept eyeing 'my Scar'. Yes my Scar! I admit I do have little feelings for the murderer but not that much to ruin my career for her. When I saw how that woman was staring at Scar, that pang of jealousy ran through me like a buck wild bull. I had to refrain from stabbing her with her own fork. I took graceful steps towards Scar and placed my both hands on the island while glaring at the girl. "Good morning Scar!" I said monotonous. "Good morning Sydney!" She smiled but I kept a straight face. Her smile ceased and she frowned. "Angie is like a sister to me Sydney!" She scowled. "Really! Then maybe she will be willing to commit incest." I hissed. "Sydney!" She shouted. "Don't you there catch an attitude with me Scar, because that woman was eye raping 'my Scar'." I spat. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Angie, this is my friend Sydney, Sy-." I cut her off, "friend!" I screamed. "Ouch!" Malik snickered. I scowled and stormed out of the kitchen and back into Scar's bedroom. I locked the door and sat on the bed with a prominent scowl. "Sydney open the door!" Scar knocked. "No!" I said. "Sydney f*****g Pearson. Open this door!" She screamed. "Or what?" I shouted back. It was queit for a while then the distinct sound of gunshots rang through my ears. The door flew open and in came a furious Scar. I glared at her and ran to the bathroom but she beat me to it and stood in front of the door. I fold my arms across my chest and scowled at her. "That was not called for Sydney!" She glared. "Okay!" I shrugged. "Okay!" She repeated clearly confused. "Yeah its okay. Its obvious you like her." I smiled fakely. "What? No! That is Bruce's daughter." She frowned. "Well good for you!" I scowled. I sighed and walked away from her. I picked up my dress and my heels and walked out of her room. "You know I don't understand you!" She called. I stopped in my tracks and turned to face her. "You're not suppose to get me!" I glared and walked away. 'Stupid f*****g Scar and her beauty.' ---------- I laid in my bed eating cookie dough ice cream and watching orange is the new black. Scar and I was supposed to be on a date today but with all the tension from earlier its inevitably not going to happen. I sighed and continued eating my ice cream. "Sydney!" Someone shouted. I frowned and walked out of my room to see Scar standing in my living room. "What!?" I shouted. "Why aren't you dressed?" She scowled. "I'm not going!" I shouted. "What do you mean you're not going?" She frowned. "I meant exactly what I said!" I glared. "Sydney, can you please get dressed so we can go." She said while walking up the stairs. "No! Go with your woman!" I scowled and walked away. I walked in my room and laid on my bed, continuing with the eating of my ice cream. She walked in my room and walked straight to my closet. "What are you doing?" I frowned. She came back out with a black spaghetti strap dress, with a low v-line with a silver belt running around the middle and a pair of silver heels. "Get dressed!" She glared. I sighed and got dressed. She smirked as she saw me. "I could be a fashion designer." She beamed. I hated to admit it but the woman has taste. We walked out of the house and into her black Ferrari spider. We sped off to a destination unknown to me. "Where are we going?" I asked. "A place!" "What place?" "You ask too many questions." She frowned. I glared at her and looked out the window. We drove to central park. She parked the car and we got out. "Why are we here?" I frowned. "You will see soon enough." She smirked. I groaned but followed any way. We walked onto an almost empty path. We walked five minutes further into the deeper parts of the park and I gasped. A parade band lined under a tree. As we arrived, drums and trumpets began playing. A choir came out with pantlets with letters on them. 'Ohh Syd- Syd- Sydney. Do you accept my apology?" I laughed as a clown came out with a pie in front of me. The words, 'I'm sorry!' Was written on it. I laughed and turned around and saw Scar holding a bouquet of roses in her hand and a wide grin plastered on her face. "I'm sorry about this morning. I really am." She sighed while running a hand through her hair. "I forgive you!" I smiled, "but never in your life watch another woman other than me." I warned. She smirked and grabbed my waist. "You're jealous!" She teased. "Shut the f**k up Kenneth!" I slapped her arm. -------- Scar took me to a huge cliff afterwards. It had a beautiful view of the city of New York. We sat on the bumper of her car and just stared at the night sky. It was beautiful. Being there with Scar was beautiful. I hated that I was betraying her. She showed me that she can be a good person to the people she loves. I saw how she reassured her brother when she told him about the ambush at the party. She does have a heart and even though mines is maybe a gaping hole, she somehow managed to put pieces of it back together. In the mere week I have known her, I saw more of her heart than anyone ever did. I was thankful for that. I couldn't continue falling for her because it will not end will. I have a job to do and that's that. I'm not going to jeopardize my career. ----------- I sat in Scar's car at midnight, in front of my house. It was a comfortable silence and none of us seemed to mind. I shifted slightly and turned to her. Her gaze met mines and I smirked. "I had a great time Sydney." She smiled. "Yeah, I did too." I laughed. "You should go inside." She whispered. "I should." I smiled and kissed her on her cheeks and exit out of her car. I walked to my door and turned around to see her still parked there. I waved at her and walked into my house. The house was extremely dark so I put on the foyer's light. Two darkly dressed men was sitting on my couch with mean smirks on their lips. I sighed loudly and stepped inside. Why is it that every time I walk into my house, someone is on my couch? "Is there a problem, boys?" I scowled. "Yes!" They stated. "Okay! I'm all ears." I frowned while folding my arms. "Scar is our boss, and since you came along she been very angry and killing off our men. So we are going to kill you." He smirked. I pursued my lips and smiled. "That does sound like my Scar." I walked over to where they were sitting and sat between them. "Listen here, I do not like threats. You see behind that door. Scar is standing there and when she comes in, you too are dead." I lied. "You little b***h!" They shouted while rushing to the front of me. I back flipped over the couch and pulled my gun from under it. I crouched behind and shot one on their foot. They screamed in agony and I didn't lapse to shoot the other one. I walked over to them and shot them both again. I walked over to my bag and pulled out my phone. I dialed Luther's number and paced my living room. "Hello!" "Luther, I killed two of Scar's men!" I hissed silently. "What happened?" He shouted. I explained what happened and he sighed loudly. "Did you find out anything about her?" He asked. "No!" I scowled. "Okay, you should go tell her what happened." He said. "Why?" I scowled. "Because Sydney, if you don't tell her now she will think you killed them just because. She won't hesitate to kill you Sydney." He sighed. "Go tell her what happened and then come to the precinct in the morning so that we can plan the attack on her." "Attack? What attack?" "We have gathered enough information to charge her." He explained. I sighed loudly and hanged up the phone. I walked into my room and got my laptop. At the party I kissed Scar and gave her the gum like bug what Kelly gave me. It was automatically connected to my laptop only. I pulled up the software and heard her singing. I sighed loudly and closed the laptop and walked out my room. I sighed and walked over to Scar's house. I knocked her door and waited for her to open it. The door flew open and I scowled. "Why are you still here?" I glared. "Umm.. I live here!" She smirked. I frowned and pushed her out of my way. "Scar!" I shouted. "Scar!" I yelled again. She walked down the stairs with a scowl on her face. I glared at her. "Why?" She frowned. "Your f*****g men ambushed me, you asshole." I shouted at her. "What?" She asked clearly confused. "I walked into my house and these two black guys, was sitting on my couch, claiming they want to kill me. I asked why and they said, you are all angry with them since I came along so they are going to kill me." I explained. "So how the hell did you escape?" She frowned. "I am not only pretty you know." I laughed and showed her my gun. "Why do you have a gun?" She asked. "Why do you have one?" I asked back. "Touché!" "So go get your f*****g men's body out of my house." I scowled. "Come on!" she said and pulled me towards her. "Angie, go to sleep I will be right back." She turned to the brunette. I scoffed and walked away. "Sydney!" Scar called. "That is my name ." "Where are they?" She asked. I opened my front door and walked in. They both died next to each other. I showed her and sat on the exact couch they were sitting on. Scar frowned as she saw them and pulled out her phone. She called someone to get the bodies and to clean up the blood. "Where did you learn to shoot like that?" "My father was in the military." I shrugged. She nod and watched the bodies again. "Zack and Turner. Two of my best men. I hate how so many of my men is turning against my wishes. I will have to begin a new recruitment soon." "You mean teenagers." I frowned. "No of course not. I was forced to join this gang when I was twelve years old. Do you think I will allow someone that young to join this gang?" She frowned. "I mainly recruit people who are in dire need of the money but only nineteen and over." "Okay I understand. Why did you join so early?" "Because when my parents died, I wanted nothing more than to be exactly like them. Ever since I could of walked I began training to be the leader of the gang. I had to endure emotional and physical wreckage at the age of five. When I was seven my father handcuffed my arms and tied a brick around my foot and dropped me in a seventy feet deep pool. He gave me ten seconds to die and I had to get out of those restraints in those ten seconds. I fought and finally got out." She smiled sadly. My eyes widened. I had no idea of any of those things. I smiled sadly and laid my head on her shoulder. "No one should of gone through those things." She said nothing so we just stayed in silence with her arms around me and my head on her shoulder.
