Chapter 11 "Duck!" He yelled. I quickly ducked while grabbing his arm and flinging his body backwards. He regained his stance and quickly charged towards me with two Shanghai swords. I leapt up in an agile somersault and stopped behind him. I kicked his back and he doubled over. He rolled away from my incoming blow and jumped up into a crouching position. He threw a sword at me and I quickly dodged while grabbing the hilt. I rushed forward and smashed my blade against his. "Yield!" I shouted. He kept an indifferent face and slightly turned the blade so that my sword was facing downwards. I scowled and delivered a quick jab to his torso with my elbow. My foot raised with stealth and kicked him thrice in his chest. He back flipped out of the way and quickly threw three blades at me. I avoided each, then charged at him yet again. "Stand down!" I yelled. He smirked and slammed his fist into my chest quickly and countless. I coughed and hissed while refraining myself from screaming in pain. I eyed him then quickly glide my foot under his own where he tripped. I wrapped my ankles around his neck and twist so that his breathing supply was now cut off. He tapped the ground numerously and I smirked while releasing him "You've grown stronger child." He bowed. I bowed back with my hands clasped in front of me. "Thank you sensei." "Training resumes in the am." I nod and walked out of the dojo. I hurried home, for I was in need of a shower. As I arrived home, I stripped and jumped into the steaming waters. I sighed loudly and washed myself. For the past two weeks, this was my routine. Dojo, warehouse, home. My routine never faltered. I tried my best to forget about the gray eyed vixen. She was the torment of my restless nights. I grew angrier with every passing moment. I killed an entire drug block because of that anger. My members saw it as something good but I saw it as my morphing into my father. He was a cold blooded murderer. That was exactly what was happening to me. I almost killed Jinx over the last weeks. If it wasn't for her intense training, she would of been dead by now. I wouldn't be able to live with myself, if it did come to that. Sydney really f****d me up. I hated her, I hated myself even more. I allowed emotions to get the best of me. Over this past week, Angie stated that she wished not to return home. I obviously obliged. She hated her father, that I knew but I don't know why she hated her mother. Angie was the one who requested I kill the lady. Reasons unknown! I stepped out the shower and changed into a knee length cargo pants and a Jordan's and matching shirt. I kept my hair untamed because I seriously needed a cut. It already passed my neck. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. Various persons already begun walking around the house. m*******a and beer was the most distinct scent. I walked out to the pool area and immediately saw Jinx. A joint was placed between her lips as she shuffled a deck of cards. She turned to me and smiled. "What's up my nigga?" She yelled. I scowled, she was already high. I grabbed the joint from her fingers and took a long drag. I exhaled the substance and took another drag. She glared at me, "puff puff, give. Scar, you're messing up the rotation." I laughed and gave it back to her. I got up and walked over to the cooler which was by the grill. Malik was grilling various meats, which I will not eat because my brother can't cook even to save his life. I grabbed a beer from the ice and popped the cap. "Hello brother!" "Hello sister!" He beamed. "My pool is getting dirty!" I scowled. "Loosen up Scar!" He yelled. I scoffed at him and walked away. "So rude!" He yelled. I chuckled and walked back to Jinx. Small warm hands covered my eyes and I chuckled. "I can smell you Angie!" She wrapped her arms around my neck. "Piggy back ride!" She yelled. I stooped down so that she can hop on. She wrapped her feet around my waist and slapped my head. "Giddy up horsey!" I laughed and walked into the kitchen. "Faster!" She yelled. I ran faster through the house till the bell rung. We walked to the door and opened it. I scowled at the gray eyed beauty. "What are you doing here?" "Your brother invited me." She glared at Angie. "Aren't you going to let us in?" "Who is us?" I queried. A petite brunette with auburn highlights walked through the door. "This is Kelly, my girlfriend!" She introduced. "Girlfriend!" Angie and I yelled at the same time. "Yes my girlfriend!" I clenched my jaw while shaking the brunette's hand. "I've heard a lot of things about you!" She glared at me so hard, I swore I died and went to hell. "Bad things I hope." "Yup!" She smirked. I looked up at Angie and she smirked. I smirked back and showed Sydney where the party is. As I walked out I placed Angie on the floor and walked over to Malik. "Malik!" I roared. His eyes widened then he smirked. "Yes baby sister!" "Why the f**k is Sydney here?" I yelled. "I invited her." He laughed. "You invited her and her b***h ass woman!" I yelled. "She has a woman!" He shouted. "Yes Einstein. You know what forget it. Emotions is the enemy, remember that!" I warned. I grabbed a beer and walked to Jinx. I sat next to her and popped the cap of it. I stared indifferently at the two in front of me. I downed my beer and gripped it harshly. A shoulder stopped me from killing the bottle. I sighed and turned to Jinx, silently thanking her for keeping me from harming Kelly. I turned back to them and Kelly smirked at me, as though challenging. I raised n eyebrow at her. She gripped Sydney's waist and smashed her lips upon hers. I growled and stormed up to my room. Stupid f*****g Kelly. I should just kill the w***e. I sighed and laid on my bed while rolling a joint. A knock at my door peaked my interest. Angie walked in and sat at the edge of my bed. "Sydney's girlfriend seems nice!" She smiled. "Yeah nice!" I scoffed. "Do you love her?" She queried. "Love? I love no one. Love is a fragment of ones imagination." I replied. "Doesn't seem so! You look at her, like I look at...," she smiled sadly. "Watch who?" "You!" She smiled. My eyes widened and before I knew it, I was bring straddled and kissed deeply by the girl I consider my sister. "Sister right!" I hissed and pushed Angie off of me. "Sydney I-," she cut me off before I could even continue. "No Scar! You don't owe me an apology. Clients remember?" I clenched my jaw and rubbed the nape of my neck. "I simply came to bid farewell for the night. Now its forever because I want nothing to do with you. I will appoint a new lawyer for you but after that, this is the last you see of me." She turned around and walked out my room. "Sydney!" I yelled but she didn't return. My heart clenched at the excessive pain it endured. My father bred a killing machine. One that had no heart and never once allowed emotions to get the best of her. I hate this feeling. I hate liking someone that I can't ever have. Only now have I realized the point of my feelings for Sydney. I liked her- a lot. Now she wanted nothing to do with me. I failed her after I kissed Angie. Even though she kissed me. Sydney hates me now. I'm nothing to her and she is everything to me. I have so much feelings for her just standing here hurts my heart. I should run after her, but my pride stopped me. I'm going to miss the sensual kisses we had. I'm going to miss the arguments. Overall I'm going to miss her. "Sydney!" I whispered. Emotions is the enemy!
