friday came and Catherine had a normal morning routine, after dropping Raya at school she went to the Cafe.

morning Cathy, said Jerry. morning J , she responded. did you see the news yesterday, some big company from A city bought Land just in this street, I heard they are going to build a mall here, can you imagine a mall in our small town.he said.

well first I didnt see the news cause I was beat up yesterday plus a mall here in our street means will be out of business, you do know mall have almost everything.come on let's get back to work before the mall gets all our lively hood.

rich people, they always do stuff without considering those under them. Jerry said sighing.

yeah yeah yeah Catherine said while going to the kitchen. 7 20 Brian was already at the Cafe waiting for her , he wore a casual blue Jean with white long sleeved shirt that had a v neck line, when Catherine changed from her apron she wore a lovely yellow dress with white flat shoes, she put her hair straight behind , the look made her look like a 16 year old with fresh cherry lips and fair smooth skin, looking at her Jerry couldn't help but take a picture of them , they looked so perfect.

they walked out of the Cafe and outside 3 Ford cars just packed out, Catherine looked at the cars and thought , maybe leaving would be a bad idea, what If Jerry and suzie need help.

don't worry they got this, plus the Cafe will soon close , relax just once, comforted Brian.

isn't the park closed , I thought we are going toba restaurant or movie or something.

smiling Brian said , it's closed, but I was thinking about our date and where to take you, I thought of a restaurant but you own Cafe and can cook anything, then the movies well, I won't be able to get to know you better plus am sure you don't watch movies, considering the fact that you are at work always.

they went near a pond and sat at an already prepared table.

I left work two hours early so that I could prepare all this, I hope you like it.

aw I love it , it's simple and romantic, makes me feel like 16 again.

on the table there was juice, cookies,sandwich,pizza and everything that makes you feel comfortable.

well we can carry some at home, I don't believe in throwing food away.

well yeah, I have always wanted to be a chef and run a huge restaurant, you know , big restaurant all around the country, but some stuff happened that being rich and famous isn't my goal anymore, all I want now is a small Cafe not big but just right.

wow, that's a nice story but I feel there are some loop holes in it, won't ask but will be nice to hear it one day.

yeah one day. she smiled at him ,he had this feeling of warmth and it was nice that it was just the two of them getting to know each other.

meanwhile at the Cafe the three cars that were packed outside, 3 well suited business men, that smelled of wealth and the ladies with them were the kind that look like they shower in milk and honey, the look they had on ther faces was a look at ridicule and criticism especially from the second couple.

good evening , welcome to Cathy's corner Cafe or C3, have you decided on what you will be having, Jerry said with a smile.

hi man, just coffee for me, said the first man.

I would like coke, please said the second.

lemon water for me said the third.

and the ladies, asked Jerry.

I would like coffee too , said the first lady.

I would like a burger and coke please. said the second.

wow Kim, and you wonder why you are having the big chick's, I would like lemon water and a salad.

I have had a long day Christina and am as hungry as hell, am not no a diet like you. plus I have no one to impress, am already married. said Kim.

no matter how good it taste remember we will be pushing the out of business soon. and Kim you need to find out the owner so we can offer them a place in the mall or ruin them. said Christina.

don't put it like that , the mall was our idea to improve the better living of people here and so that the town won't waste but have a taste of the outside world. scolded David.

hey Jerry, can I have a burger and fries too with coke, ordered Claire.

you got it ,he said.

wow babe , I thought you will be having coffee, because of those papers you have to look at later. said Kevin.

I will carry coffee from here , the food Kim is eating looks tasty and smells really nice.

oh good come on baby am tired, I can't stand the grease. complained Christina.

alright , Kevin can you handle our bill, said David as he stood up.

hehe so glad am not the best man, laughed Jackson.

it was only the two couples remaining in the Cafe, enjoying a late dinner.

why is this place called a Cafe and not a diner ,asked Kim.

my boss and close friend likes surprising customers.answered Jerry.

I thought it was yours, said Claire.

babe it wouldn't be called Cathy's if it was his, answered Kevin.

your boss is Cathy. asked Jackson.

unfortunately she is on a date today, so suzie who is our part time was the. chef today, she is at the university studying to be a chef, explained Jerry.

suzie: I wish I could get all the credit, but my boss deserves the credit.

jackson: hope will meet her, I think my wife is now a regular.

jerry: sorry guys I hope will be able to chat more but we have to close up.

kevin: okay, we better be off now, see you around, we are handling the mall project, if it's done maybe the Cafe can move there.

jerry: mmm maybe.

the cars drove away as soon as they were out of sight jerry started jumping up and down .

suzie: what's wrong?

jerry: they just left us 750 dollars in cash.

suzie: what! but the bill was 120 dollars

jerry: yeah , i guess it's a tip.

suzie: wow Cathy will be so happy with us.

Catherine: I just talked to jerry, they have closed the Cafe now.

Brian: wow this late its almost 10pm.

Catherine: he said a group of people kept ordering food.

Brian: regulars?

Catherine: no, they were new, he said they looked not from town.

Brian: outsiders then.

Catherine: thanks for the date it was very nice and lovely, I liked it, I enjoyed myself.

Brian: hopefully you will give me the pleasure of taking you out again.

Catherine: maybe after a year or 2

Brian: I will be 70 when I take you on the 5Th date.

Catherine laughed out, she hasn't been this happy in a long time, she gave Brian a kiss on the chick and went inside. going straight to raya's room she found asleep and Justin on the ground sleeping as well. getting her phone she called Patricia.

Catherine: hey Patricia you sleeping?

Patricia: I was , justine is on the floor in rayas room .

Catherine: okey , will lock up and shower, see you in the morning.
