CHAPTER NINE

Celina is lying down on bed still sleeping when her alarm rings.."mmm" she groans as she stretches then stopped it

"What a noise" she murmured then slept back..

After a while, her phone rings.."who could it be? She questions herself as she sat up then picked her phone..

"Beautiful morning to you" it was Jesse

"Thank u, how was your night? Celina asks

"Pretty cool" he replies..

"Hearing your voice this morning, I'm damn sure I will have a great day" Jesse said.. "you bet" Celina replied then they laugh in unison..

"Are you free after work today? He asks

"Yes, any issues? Celina asked...

"None really, but there is a party hosted for business tycoons" He replied..

"You want me to tag along? She asks "If you are busy, it's fine" he said..

"I'm free, what time is it? She asks.. "By 10 pm" he replies..

"Come pick me up later" she replies

"Really? He asked in excitement... "Yes" she replied.. "I love you baby, really" Jesse said... "I love you too" Celina replied..

"It's time for me to get ready for work" Celina said.. "ooh, yeah..have a nice day and we will see later" He said "sure" she replied then the call ended..

It was a business tycoon party, certainly Idris will be there, with his company Vera. Am I really ready to face them? Celina thought to herself..

Yeah, she has gotten over him but the sight of the both disgusts her..

But whatever..her boyfriend is the owner of a big company, much bigger than Idris's..plus their investments can't be compared. Jesse beats him down in all aspects..

"I ghats shower" Celina said then went into the bathroom..

"These particular design is new, so we have to give it our best in designing it" Celina said to an employee.. "Yes ma" she replied as she was about leaving Celina called her back..

"Emerald, come have a look" Celina said..

"No mistake will be tolerated, see the edges of this dress" Celina said pointing at the sketch..

"It should flow down well" she explained..

"I would have done it myself but I have an order that would be sent out today to complete" She added..then Emerald left and Rose came in..

She slumped on the sofa..."we have been hooked up on orders, should we stop taking? She asked... "Then how are you gonna get paid? Celina asked..

"Oooh come on, I'm so damn tired" Rose complained..

"Are you done with packaging Miss Sophia's dress? Celina asked..

"Yes, it will be sent out soon" she replied.. "this dress? Rose said pointing at the wedding dress that was on showcase..

"Don't tell me.." Rose was about completing her statement when she was cut off by Celina..

"Yes, my wedding dress or will I say ex-wedding dress" Celina replied..

"Package it up, I'm done" Celina added

"Someone already bought it off" Rose asked..

"Yes, I placed it out for a long time" Celina replied..then went on to adjusting the next dress she just made..

"You could have kept it for later" Rose said while packaging the dress..

"Later? Celina asked

"Mm, yeah" Rose replied not understanding her question.. "did I tell you, am planning on getting married? Celina asked..

"Hey, the first didn't go doesn't mean that the second won't" Rose explained.. "look" as Rose was about pointing out few point, Celina cut her off..

"Save the lecture and help me fix this dress" Celina Said pointing at another dress by the side of the office..

"I didn't see the sketch of this..who ordered it? Rose asked.. "it's mine" Celina replied..

"What for? Rose asked..

"Jesse invited me for a dinner night for business tycoons" She replied..

"Oooh, the first official outing with your baby" Rose exclaimed in excitement...

"This dress is super hot" Rose commented

The hall was quite large and Classic..of course it should, this is for high class individuals. Top business men and women gather once in a year to celebrate their achievements and flaunt their wealth..

In this place, the lower class or middle class has no place and stay, they are regarded as thrash..

From the entrance of the hall is filled with people and music filled the room and there are some couples dancing to the rhythm of the music while glasses are clicking and laughter from different angles.

Food trays set from left to right with different kinds of food and drinks then snacks and gists..

Everything was classic, people enjoyed themselves with their partners linked to their arms..

Celina came inside, of course it wasn't her first time attending this but the person who she is with, is her first time coming with him. She normally comes with Idris but now change of partner but No matter how many times she has attended this event. She was always amaze every time. How the riches flaunt their money like it's nothing...

It's a big surprise..

Of course she doesn't lack anything, she has the money enough to buy her all she needs. Of course she was high class in the fashion industry but her wealth haven't gotten to the extent of her attending this event without an invite..

She still has a long way to go...

"Come on, let me introduce you" Jesse said then took her round and showed her off to some of his friends and business partners..

"She is beautiful"

This was the compliment that was flowing all over the hall..of course she killed everything..from her hairs style down to her makeup then her dress showing off her good curve.. mehn she really killed it..

"Ohh..that's a rival" Jesse said as Celina looked up..to her surprise it was Idris..

"They are rivals? Celina muttered to herself..

"Come on, I should introduce you to him" Jesse said and held her close by her waist as they walked in same rhythm...
