CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Rose laid on the sofa as she stared at the ten orders she packaged.

"This is driving me nuts" she shouted out..

"Is this how single life is? Seriously" she shouted then sat up..

"I'm meant to be the one enjoying dates and not Celina.. I'm the one looking for love here, she is all about fun" she said in annoyance then laughed.. "at least her mind is off Idris" she concluded then slumped back and closed her eyes..

"Look who have been talking behind my back" Celina said as she sat on the table..

"Celina, why are you speaking in my head" Rose shouted..

"I must have been too stressed that it got me really hard" she added, then relaxed more on the cushion

"I should get some rest" she said..then Celina flicked her forehead ... "Arrrg" she groaned in pain..

"It's reality" Celina replied, placing the orders accordingly..

"It has been real tough without you, dear friend" Rose said as she stood up and hugged Celina tight.

Emerald came into the office..

"Ma'am Celina, ma'am Rose, the director calls for you" She announced..

"Another big work" Rose said as she tiredly dragged her feet while Celina followed her laughing..

"Bella Thompson? Celina wondered in disbelief..

Bella was the lady that won the 5th award for business tycoons, she is also the one rumored to have connections.

She was sitting down with her legs crossed as she sipped her coffee..

"Are they the designers? She asked, dropping her coffee to the table.

"Yes" Mrs Nita replied..

Mrs Nita is the owner of the company where Celina works. She was hardly seen by the employees but because she heard that Bella was coming, she came herself to take her orders.

"I would love to have three dresses" Bella announced then stared at Celina and Rose.

"Where is your sketches? She asked..

"Here are new sketches that we made of recent" Ross replied, presenting her the sketch pad.

"No" Bella rejected..

"I want something out of this books" Bella said..

"You can sketch now" Bella added..

Celina and Rose sat down and started to work..

After few moments..

They showed her the different sketches they made..

"No" she replied bluntly..

They started off sketching new ones, when they were done, they showed it to her.

"You expect me to wear these? Bella asked, pointing at the sketch that Rose and Celina made, differently.

"That's ridiculous" She said ..then lifted her empty cup of coffee..

"A refill, extra sugar" Bella said, giving the cup to Mrs Nita.

"Sure" She replied and left.

Rose and Celina exchanged glances then starting sketching again

"Too common" Bella said, when they showed it to her.

"Not sexy" she replied when they showed her another one.

"My boo won't like it" She complained when they showed her another sketch..

"This is blunt" She replied to another one..

Celina got angry then dropped her pencil on the table with force, scaring Bella..

"Whaaat? Bella asked stammering..

Celina smiled and said.. "Ma'am pls stand up" She said politely..

Bella stood up obediently then Celina checked out her body..

Then sat down and sketched three dresses at once..

Then gave it to her.

"The dresses are all straight cut, two goes with design of beads on the neck and the third one is plain. It shows your great curve and the net covers your cleavage, so your boo won't be annoyed. So what makes it sexy, is that it is straight and it shows your curve and backside." Celina summarized.. " Nice" Bella said, then stood up..

"I will pick it up tommorow" She said and picked up her handbag..

"Tommorow? Celina asked.. "that's a limited time" she added..

"That's why I pay thrice the price, do your job" Bella said, placed her glasses on her head then left leaving the noise from her heels to be heard.

"she is hilarious" Rose commented when they entered the room. "Tommorow? Rose asked then laughed out loud.

"At this rate, I will die young from working and yet not achieving my full dream" She said then added..

"What a pitiful life"

"Less talk, let's get to work" Celina said as she brought out the materials.

(At Night)

"So we are really sleeping over? Rose asked staring at the layers they made.

"You took her measurements right? Celina asked

"Ooh yeah" Rise replied and picked up a book.

"Here it is" She handed it to Celina.

"The layers of the three is all done, let's fix in the materials with the sewing machine" Celina said as they got to work.

After fixing it, they put on the dresses on display then looked at it..

"Fixed" Celina said then Rose clapped in excitement..

"We get to go home tonight" Rose said picking up her handbag..

"We will do the rest of the touches tommorow morning" Celina said as they left together..

"It's late already" Rose said, then checked her phone.. "12:15 am" she muttered..

"I will drop you off" Celina said as they got into her car and she drove off..

"Celina we are in big trouble" Rose shouted over the phone.

Celina was sitting on her bed, with her eyes half open and half asleep and a scattered hair. Immediately she heard they were in trouble, she jumped up.

"What? She asked..

"Bella is here to pick up the dresses" Rose announced..

"This morning? Celina asked in shock..

"What should I do? What should I do? I'm panicking" Rose said, breathing heavily..

"Take a deep breath and start doing the touches" Celina said, trying to calm her down.

"You are the one that designed the dresses, what do I know about beads? Rose asked in frustration..

"Calm calm, you are right, you are right" Celina said, almost panicking.. "I'm on my way" She said then hung up..

Celina arrived in the company, then ran to the dressing room. "Where are the dresses? Celina asked, throwing her bag to the cushion.

"Here" Rose replied, panting.. "and where is she? Celina asked, turning to Rose.

"The director is keeping her busy with the latest trends" Rose replied..

"How long do we have? Celina asked arranging the beads.. "Less than an hour" Rose replied.

"That's more than enough time" Celina replied then started working on the dresses.

After alot of time spent in running around, fixing the beads and pressing it on...plus the finishing touching. They were done...

Celina stretched herself then smiled.. "perfect" She complimented..

"Let's move it to Mrs Nita's office" Rose said, they lifted the dresses and left..

"This" Bella said as she turned around infront of the full length mirror..

She smiled.. "I love it" she said happily..while Rose sighed out of relief..

"Let me try out the rest" Bella said as she went in to change.

Then Celina's phone rang, she excused herself.
