CHAPTER 3

Time froze, minutes came like a second. Father was lying lifeless on the floor, blood gushing from where he had been injured. Nobody was doing anything to help him,I never knew father had all this enemy not until today. I rushed to him and held where the blushh was gushing out from.

"Father!!" I screamed out loud. But he only kept smiling at him

"Father don't leave me, I'm begging you, you are the only one I have now, I have been rejected, don't leave me alone please!!!" I kept yelling and crying at the same time.

"I'm not going to leave you Melanie!!" He said with a smile on this face, he held me in my arms

"You don't expect a beta who had lived his life on the training field die just because of a mere arrow" I knew he was trying to comfort me

"Stop comforting me father, I'm not a child anymore and I know the difference between death and life" I answered and smiled the more

"Find Gregory, find your cousin, he will help you out!" He added

"But Gregory left to his pack, I don't know we're to find him" I answered in a low tone

"Just find him, he is the Alpha of his pack, find him and stay with him!!!" He added and gave up.

I screamed as loud as I could. I wish the ground would open up and swallow me, why I'm I still living when I have no other family members to share my secret with? How could I bear this pain all alone? I stood up from the ground but my gaze was still on Father.

"I promise to avenge your dead father!! I promise to get to the root of everything! I would show them that an Omega can do worse than an Alpha! I promise!" Hot tears rolled down my cheeks as I said this words

"Take him to the dongeun '' Fernando gave an order, and I watched the guards take father away.

I walked over to Nican and stared at him

"Are you this heartless, don't you have a little sympathy? You killed my father in front of me, can't you even give him a burial, he is the general!!"

"I didn't kill him, and I have nothing to do with his burial, I hope you can mind your place and respect yourself" Nican answered

"Respect myself!' I muttered and laughed

"Do you even know what respect is called? Do you even have a place!!" I yelled

"I'm trying to be patient with you, buy I hope you don't push your luck"

"You are an Alpha, you are supposed to be the pillar of everybody, but you are behaving likewise, and you expect us to follow your footstep!!" I stared at him

"What if it was your father that died this way, What if your father was killed in your arms, how would you feel!!!!" I yelled,

"My father died this way too!! He died in my hands too!!!" His yelling made a loud howl, there came a hard wind and I fell to the ground, Nican looked more like a beast in human clothing.

"If his father had died, then why is he behaving like this? How did his father die? Who is Fernando?" Many questions came popping in my mind.

"I wanted to be cool with you, buy you have made things worse for yourself, I wanted you to live your life now, but you have caused more for yourself" He said to me

"Take her into the dongeun!!" He said, still looking at him.

"Wait!!!" I yelled, Making everyone stop in their track

"My lady!!" Tiana ran towards me. She is always on time when I need her. Tiana was part of the werewolf Gramma, they specifically had fighting skills, just for my safety, Father brought her to be my maid.

"I would go anywhere you all want to me to go, but I have only one thing to say here"

"I hope you guys will come out from discriminating against wolves based on their rank and look at the good things ahead of them" I didn't Know what I was saying, but I needed a distraction to say something to Tiana.

"What are you saying!?" Fernando asked

"You are wasting our time, do you Know the implications of it?" He asked again.

"I don't think I should answer that question you asked, just wait and see the future" I don't know what gave me the courage to speak to him like that. I turned around and

hugged Tiana really tight and she hugged me too, it was the first time she had hugged me, and I really would miss this moment.

"Find my cousin Gregory, he is the Alpha of a pack, tell him my situation, tell him how father died, but he shouldn't act reckless, both of you are my only hope" I broke the hug and looked at her.

I was about to be dragged away when a pod howling sound came from Nican, it was as if his wolf form were punishing him, this only happens when a wolf did something very wrong in the eyes of the moon goddess.

"Nican, are you okay!" A young Wolf, the same age as Nican asked.

"Nican!!"

"I'm losing my mind! I don't know what's happening!!" Nican answered

"You are receiving a punishment for doing something wrong, what did you do wrong?" The man asked

"Why are you asking me that question at this critical time, I'm dying!!" Nican howled

"Stop looking and keep doing what you are doing, Take her to the dongeun" Fernando yelled

I don't know why but I find Fernando scheming, his attitude towards father and I were not right, and I know that there Is something he is hiding from us, and I must get to the root of it.

A loud sound was heard and when I turned I saw Nican laying on the floor.
