Chapter 3: Awakening

In front of william's eyes was a gigantic mountain piercing space almost as wide as it is tall, With countless things of all shapes and sizes embedded into it and on this day the 3 of august 105944 of the Magnus calendar Hundreds of millions of people have come to this very mountain to Try to receive their Awakenings, if they succeed their lives will change completely and become incomparable to what they were and if they fail then their lives will continue as they were Mediocre and regular, normal lives that they travelled so far just to change.

At the base of the mountain stood an old man probably thousands of years old Explaining the method of awakening:"i will be guiding you dear children to your awakening, know that just by coming here today to turn your lives around you have already Honored your ancestors So no matter what happens i hope you return happy that you tried, now let me explain the rules to all of you, first the participant must climb as high as their will will allow them until they find a shining light calling for them, Second, please make sure to put your lives before anything else since the higher you climb the less oxygen and colder it is there is making the possibility of freezing to death even higher, third, once you touch the light you will be presented with an object(s) and a challenge equivalent to the level of your awakening so if the challenge is particularly hard then your power is probably a good one Other than that everything else is Case by case so not much help can be given to the participants Now please venture forth and grab your destiny ".

After listening to the old man William had one thought in his head "Climb as high as you physically can" when suddenly he noticed a group of well dressed young men surrounding a young man who seemed to be a beggar from the rags he was in, and suddenly he heard words that angered him "Get out of the way, Trash" upon hearing this william jumped in front of the young man leading the group and asked "What are you snobs doing ganging up on one person" hearing this the group of young men all started laughing out loud as if they heard the funniest joke in existence the young man leading the group then answered back "I told this trash to get out of the way what does that have to do with a farmer looking bastard like you, to us Royalty and nobles time is like gold you people are merely annoyances we have to bear with So how dare he dirty my shoes" After listening to these words William thought for a bit before helping the beggar up "Don't let these losers bother you i bet they couldn't awaken a stronger power than you so don't worry and go up" the crowd was on william's side as they cheered "Yeah they couldn't even be stronger than us just because they're nobles" this only added to the pressure on the leader who then answered with a scoff " then are you willing to bet your destined power on it " the crowd looked serious since losing the destined power meant the awakener couldn't level up anymore But william calmly retorted "it seems you have some balls but a bet needs to have equivalent prizes so tell me what would i get if i won" the leader was noticeably ticked off yelling "PROPOSTEROUS! do you think you could ever even match up to me But i'll grant you three wishes if you can awaken a power stronger than me, So tell me lowly Farmer are three wishes granted by the third prince of humankind enough for you" william answered "Oh so you're a prince then i'll gladly agree to this bet" the third prince grinned as he shook william's hand" let's meet here in 15 days after we get our swords hopefully your Object is not too low rank so i can Fashion a nice trinket from it hohohoho" after this william immediately left and once he was a ways away he started thinking to himself "Well i was already going to push myself to the limit no matter what so i'll just take the bet as extra motivation" After making up his mind william went to gather supplies for the climb with the money his parents had given him.

An hour later.

William had returned with the following items in his bag:

-sturdy monster skin boots

-a rope

-Spiked climbing Gloves

-10 days worth of food in a 10x size reduction bag

after putting everything in the bag William started his journey up the Sword Mountain by running up the beaten path until it ended

3 DAYS LATER.

william had already climbed so high the city below was already a blur. when he saw that something was shining in his Peripheral vision so he climbed towards it but upon reaching it he found that it was actually a giant skeleton hand with an Unknown glowing white orb in it and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't separate them so he just put the whole thing in his size reduction bag because he noticed another shining Object even higher up started to call for him as it shone brightly, Though perplexed william climbed towards it.

2 days later.

William finally reached the second shine after a slight struggle, But once again it was actually 4 rings on a Giant skeleton hand But once again another shine this time much much higher started calling for him after he stored it, so he decided to push on and go for the next shine.

3 days later.

William was climbing And finally reached the third shine But once again it was a skeleton hand but this time it had a giant book in it that he couldn't open no matter what so he stored it as another fourth shine called for him so he continued to climb once again.

2 day later.

William's food supplies had run out and his climbing gloves had already turned to rags, he was a starved man but he still pushed through with sheer will and when he finally reached the shine he found a fourth Giant skeleton hand this time with 5 different rings on it but once again he stored and began to descend the mountain but slightly above him a temple like structure called for him"*Cough* i guess can't give up now*cough*i have to push on" and so he continued to climb.

A FEW HOURS LATER.

William had lost his winter jacket and his whole left arm was frozen solid and to make matters worse the starvation had gotten to him making him lose all energy, but he had finally reached the temple making him as happy as can be, but then he heard a voice whispering in his ears.

"just give up death is sweet and merciful you won't even have to worry about anything"

William's Past life was full of pain and suffering, and his current Life was the exact opposite so he would never give up on it though those words sounded so sweet to him but he didn't give up and walked into the temple, Inside the temple was a giant six armed humanoid corpse Missing all of its hand and chained to the ground In just by it was a mural Detailing the same six armed humanoid Corpse standing at the peak of the sword mountain with objects in each hand these objects fit the things william had found in the skeleton hands on his climb so he placed them by the corpse and they returned to the corpse as if they were alive but there were still two arms missing so william began to search for them around the temple until he noticed one of the arms chained to the roof with a Giant greatsword in it so he pulled it down and once again returned it to the corpse But he was missing one last object a giant Red heart the Humanoid corpse was holding in the mural But just when he was about to give up as he was injured and starving But Suddenly the whole world went black making william think he Died and all he could think was "i have failed...."

But then a robotic seeming voice rang out in his head:

Some time later William woke up, but in a child's body and his surroundings looked like his past life and he started to look around when suddenly the Robotic voice started explaining:

" a perfect test for one such as i, too bad you didn't know i was a lowly slave in my past life this test is basically a walk in the park for me i already know how to win, I'll steal from the Rich and fight the evil like i did in my past life"

William now owned a large Corporation specialized in Providing free Hospitals for people and helping those in need"

suddenly william Became a giant and found himself sat on an Emerald throne the system began then began to explain

"God huh? let's try this out" William waved his hand and worlds disappeared he wave his hand again and they reappeared he imagined money and it appeared he Imagined a Harem of 600 women and they appeared he imagined his parents and they appeared, But suddenly he frowned "It is intoxicating but it feels so empty and meaningless, Even being a CEO felt More fulfilling than this But since i have to make a choice i'll go with Number 1 i was one of those creations after all"

before william could finish he had already returned to reality, but instead of an injured body he was perfectly fine But then out of nowhere just as he started to wonder where his rewards were He was.....

A FEW HOURS LATER.

William woke up to find Himself feeling Completely Different so he looked around him and at himself and what he was completely flabbergasted to find was the following:

-He had gotten way taller Approximately 6 foot 4 now

-He became much much more Handsome, shockingly so making him doubt his own identity, even more handsome than the Biggest idols in his past life

-His body now looked liked it was Sculpted by the gods themselves he was larger and even had a 8-pack now and his c**k had grown immeasurably larger looking like a third leg on his body

-his hair now went down to his hips and had an irremovable very visible Golden glimmer to it

After checking his body he found Objects in all over him and after getting used to his new strength and speed after the stat points He examined the objects closely:

-he had 9 rings one on each finger other than his right hand's pinky

-he had a tattoo of a book on his right hand's palm

-He had the following words tattooed down his back "I am eternal, I am Inevitable, I am wrath incarnate, I am the End and the beginning" in order.

William was thinking out loud "What do all of these things do and why do i have so many tattoos on my body, what could this mean"

Suddenly a gigantic book the size of the planet appeared and covered the sky as every Living being was covered by its shadow and as they all looked at this extremely rare event it opened and flipped through itself stopping on a page with multiple words crossed out other than one Word "Coram Deo", the word flew out of the book and fell onto the planet with unbelievable speed looking like a meteor and as it struck the earth the book disappeared leaving the whole world aware of the appearance of another Verbum .

at the place where the meteor like word landed william was laid on the ground wailing in pain while holding his left eye in pain as it burned with red flames Until he passed out.

SOMETIME LATER.

William woke up to the Female robotic voice:

{Master On your hands are ?????'s rings whenever one of them is activated after the user is strong enough they will allow the user to use godly powers, and the tattoo on your palm is the dwelling of ?????'s grimoire but you're nowhere strong enough to even begin to consider considering Summoning it, and the magic core has been successfully fused into your body allowing you to use magic, and The words on your back are the dwelling of ?????'s Greatsword though you are also incapable of Summoning it currently}

William was kind of pissed off he had all of these items and things on him but he was simply too weak to use any of them "Then what exactly can i use out of everything i've received" the robotic voice answered { since you have successfully fused the magic core you are currently capable of using Magic. "

William suddenly froze as information entered his brain, after closing his eyes for a bit william was happy with the results "I can now use three spells, Advanced magic missile, Fire arrow, Magic trap from what i know these should be extremely useful 3rd circle Spells Anyhow what are the words on my back i only felt them being burned in but i can't actually see what they are" the robotic voice answered { The words are " I am eternal, I am Inevitable, I am wrath incarnate, I am the End and the beginning. "

after hearing these words the Ethereal and grand image of the giant Greatsword appeared in william's mind prompting his energy to suddenly burst out of his fists uncontrollably Signaling his Breakthrough into a [Sword Disciple] as he could use sword Aura now but william needed to first stabilize after his breakthrough by using a sword to channel his sword aura but he could only find a flimsy Wooden practice sword in his bag making things even harder on him...

3 DAYS LATER.

William finished his Stabilization and remembered something "I Should probably check my status" And after that he said two words "Open status"

And this appeared in front of him:
