Kael's piercing blue eyes seemed to bore into Eira's soul as he steadied her. His strong hands grasped her shoulders, sending a jolt of electricity through her body. Eira's cheeks flushed as she apologized for colliding with him. Kael's expression remained stoic, but his eyes seemed to soften ever so slightly. As they stood there, the air thick with tension, Eira noticed the scar above Kael's left eyebrow. It seemed to be a recent wound, and she wondered what had caused it. Kael's gaze lingered on Eira's face before he nodded curtly. "Be more careful next time," he said, his deep voice sending a shiver down her spine. With that, he turned to leave, but Eira's curiosity got the better of her. "Wait!" she called out. Kael turned back, his eyes narrowing. "What?" he growled. Eira hesitated, unsure why she had stopped him. "I...I just wanted to ask your name," she stammered. The stranger's expression softened ever so slightly. "I'm Kael," he said, his voice a little gentler. Eira's heart skipped a beat as their eyes locked. She felt an inexplicable jolt of connection, as if she had stumbled upon a long-lost piece of herself. As they stood there, the air thick with tension, Eira knew that her life was about to change forever.Kael's gaze lingered on Eira's face for a moment longer before he turned to leave. Eira watched him go, feeling a pang of disappointment. She couldn't explain why, but she felt a strong connection to the mysterious stranger. As she stood there, lost in thought, Eira noticed a piece of parchment on the ground. She picked it up, realizing it was a map of the city. But what caught her attention was the small inscription on the corner: "Meet me at the old windmill on the outskirts of town at midnight. Come alone." Eira's heart skipped a beat as she wondered if the message was meant for her. And who could have written it? She looked around, but Kael was nowhere to be seen. Despite her reservations, Eira felt a thrill of excitement. She had always been drawn to mysteries, and this was the most intriguing one she had encountered in a long time. As she folded the map and tucked it into her pocket, Eira made a decision. She would go to the windmill at midnight, alone. And she would uncover the secrets that lay hidden in the shadows of Eldarado. As the sun began to set, casting a warm orange glow over the city, Eira made her way back to her small apartment. She couldn't shake off the feeling that her life was about to change forever. As she entered her apartment, Eira noticed a small package on her table. It was wrapped in brown paper and tied with a twine. There was no note or indication of who might have sent it. Eira's curiosity got the better of her, and she carefully unwrapped the package. Inside, she found a small, leather-bound book. The cover was worn and faded, but the pages inside were filled with handwritten notes and diagrams. As Eira began to flip through the pages, she realized that the book was some sort of journal or diary. The entries were cryptic, but they seemed to be written by someone who was deeply involved in the mysteries of Eldarado. Suddenly, Eira heard a faint knock at the door. She froze, wondering who it could be. The knock came again, this time more insistently. Eira's heart racing, she slowly made her way to the door. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should open it. But something about the knock seemed familiar, and she felt a strange sense of calm wash over her. Taking a deep breath, Eira slowly turned the handle and opened the door.
