Romeo's POV
Athena was already sound asleep. Her soft snores were adorable.
I wanted to dress her, but didn't want to wake her.
I felt somewhat reassured knowing she couldn’t move. The blanket would stay in place, so she wouldn’t get cold. Besides, the room was warm.
I stroked her cheek with my hand and then kissed it. Athena's head moved slightly in response, and a smile spread across her face.
"Was I in your dream? I'm pretty sure I was the one making you smile," I whispered, letting out a soft chuckle when Athena turned her head away.
I don't know if she blushed because I guessed correctly or if she was bothered by my voice in her ear.
“I’m so glad you had a sweet dream.” I stroked her cheek, both happy and anxious.
I hoped the virus would leave her body, and she would understan
