Riley
I barely slept. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw that flash of lightning and Jax’s hand moving while he moaned my name. By morning my body felt tight and restless, like a wire pulled too hard.
I stayed in my room as long as I could, but hunger finally dragged me downstairs. The house was quiet except for the low hum of the fridge. I walked into the living room and froze.
Jax was waiting. He stood by the big window in a black t-shirt and gray sweatpants, arms crossed, eyes locked on me the second I stepped in. No smirk this time. Just raw, aggressive heat.
“You heard what you heard,” he said, voice low and rough. “Now what are you going to do about it?”
My heart slammed against my ribs. I tried to sound normal. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Bullshit, Riley.” He took one step closer. “You stood there in my doorway last night watching me jerk off while I said your name. Don’t play innocent now.”
Heat rushed up my neck. I wanted to run. I wanted to hit him. Mostly I wanted him to stop looking at me like that, like he already owned me.
“I didn’t mean to,” I whispered.
Jax laughed, short and dark. “You didn’t mean to push my door open? Bullshit again.” He moved fast, backing me toward the kitchen counter. “You came looking. You wanted to see.”
My back hit the cold marble. I gripped the edge behind me. “Jax, stop..”
“Stop what?” He planted his hands on either side of me, trapping me. His body heat rolled over me. “Stop wanting you? Stop thinking about how you’d sound under me? Too late for that.”
The air felt too thick. I could smell his soap and the faint sweat from his morning workout. My hands shook as I pushed at his chest, but I didn’t push hard.
“You’re my stepbrother,” I said, voice cracking.
“Yeah,” he growled. “And you’ve been driving me crazy since I moved back in.”
The argument exploded.
“You made my life hell!” I shouted. “You treated me like I was nothing!”
“And you watched me like I was everything!” he shot back. His hand grabbed my chin, forcing me to look up at him. “Don’t lie to me, Riley. Not about this.”
I snapped..I grabbed his shirt and yanked him down. Our mouths crashed together, angry, desperate, teeth knocking. Jax made a rough sound in his throat and took control instantly. He pinned me harder against the counter, one big hand sliding into my hair, the other gripping my waist.
The kiss turned brutal. His tongue pushed into my mouth, claiming. I moaned against him, hating how good it felt. My hands fisted in his shirt, half trying to push him away, half pulling him closer. He bit my bottom lip, then moved down to my neck, sucking hard enough to leave a mark.
“f**k,” I gasped.
His hips rolled against mine. I could feel how hard he was through his sweatpants, grinding slow and dirty. My own c**k throbbed in response. Clothes shifted — my shirt rode up, his hand slipped under it, rough palm sliding over my stomach and up my chest.
“You’re so f*****g responsive,” he muttered against my neck, biting again. “Been dreaming about this.”
I arched into him, lost in the heat. His fingers pinched my n****e and I whimpered. The sound seemed to snap something in him. He lifted me slightly, setting me on the counter, stepping between my legs. Our bodies pressed tight, grinding, hands everywhere.
Then, headlights swept across the front windows.
We froze..A car door slammed outside. Footsteps on the gravel.
“s**t,” Jax hissed. He pulled back fast, eyes wild. I slid off the counter, legs shaky, lips swollen, neck burning from his mouth. Guilt crashed over me like cold water. My mom’s face flashed in my mind. What the hell were we doing?
“It’s just a delivery,” Jax said after a moment, peeking through the window. His voice was still rough. “They left the package.”
We stood there breathing hard. Lust and guilt fought on my face. I touched my neck where he’d marked me. It was already tender.
Jax ran a hand through his hair. “Come here.”
I didn’t move at first. Then I did.
He pulled me into the hallway, voice quieter now. “I didn’t come back just for business. My dad put a clause in the inheritance. I have to live here for three months and try to make this family s**t work or I lose everything.”
I stared at him. “So this… us… is part of your plan?”
“No.” His eyes softened just a little. “But it’s happening anyway.” He paused. “You feel invisible since the marriage, don’t you?”
The words hit deep. I looked away. “Yeah. Mom’s happy. Really happy. And I’m… just here. Like extra baggage.”
Jax touched my cheek, surprisingly gentle. “You’re not invisible to me.”
The moment felt too real. Too dangerous.
“Shower,” he said suddenly, voice dropping again. “Now.”
We moved together, almost running upstairs. This time it was intentional. The second the bathroom door locked, Jax pushed me against the wall and kissed me again, slower but deeper. Steam filled the room as he turned the water on hot.
We stripped fast. My hands shook as I pulled off my shirt. Jax watched me like he wanted to eat me alive. When we stepped under the spray, he pressed me against the tiles, water cascading over us.
His mouth was everywhere, my neck, my collarbone, down my chest. He dropped to his knees for a moment, mouthing over my c**k through my wet boxers before standing again. His hand wrapped around me, stroking slow and firm.
“Jax…” I moaned, head falling back.
“Say it,” he growled, pumping me harder. “Say you’re mine, little brother.”
“I..I’m yours,” I gasped, hips jerking into his fist.
“Good boy.” His other hand gripped my ass, fingers digging in. He whispered filthy things against my ear, how tight I’d feel, how he’d ruin me, how he’d make me beg. His own hard c**k rubbed against my thigh, hot and heavy.
We made out like animals under the water, hands sliding everywhere, bodies grinding. He edged me twice, bringing me right to the edge then stopping, laughing low when I cursed him.
But he wouldn’t go all the way. No matter how much I begged.
“Not yet,” he said, biting my shoulder. “I want you desperate for me.”
We finally stepped out, breathing hard, towels barely wrapped around us. My legs felt like jelly. My body ached with unfinished need.
My phone rang on the bathroom counter. I picked it up. It was my best friend, Leo.
“Hey man,” Leo said, voice excited. “I’m in the area. You free? I need to come over and talk, something feels off with you lately.”
Jax stood right behind me, still dripping. He wrapped an arm around my waist possessively and growled low in my ear, “Tell him no. You’re mine tonight.”
I swallowed hard.. But then I noticed the missed call notification right below Leo’s name. It was from someone named “Dylan”. The voicemail preview popped up: “Hey babe, I’m flying into town tomorrow. Can’t wait to see you again. Missed that mouth of yours…”
My stomach twisted…
