Otis’ P.o.V.
I left Nelly to tend to the bleeding spirit so I could check on Vlad. He was lying, naked and unconscious in his bed, his skin cold as ice. I carefully dressed him and carried him down so he could be with his fellow snow spirit as soon as he woke. Vlad didn’t seem wounded in anyway at least. But Jack was more then hurt, Nelly was working on stitching him up and giving him blood. It was a plus side, knowing vampires, we always had blood in the fridge.
“What can I help with Nelly?” I asked, concerned as I heard the frost spirit’s heartbeat stutter weakly.
“Nothing. It’s up to him now.” She said, wiping the blood from her hands and using a damp cloth to wipe the stitched wound across Jack’s stomach. I swallowed and jumped when Vlad gasped awake.
Vlad’s P.o.V.
I was cold, so cold and I couldn’t move. Trapped in place as I struggled in the dark. It was a dream I had faced before it seemed, but I couldn’t remember why. Then there was a shade of light glowing from a flower of frost before me. I was able to move again, finally, as a silhouette formed in the glow of the flower. The glow suddenly brightened and the silhouette revealed a white haired teen with ice blue eyes. It dawned on me then. This was Jack Frost, my beloved Jack Frost. The memories hit me like a lead hammer then, meeting the frost spirit in the park, inviting him to play video games, the biting, the s*x, our beautiful relationship. I remembered his sweet and soft blue eyes that always sparked with mischief and playfulness, how soft his snow colored locks felt between my fingers. His skin was always chilly but his blood was like liquid fire.
I reached for him and he flinched away from me, grasping at his stomach as he suddenly to gush blood from a massive gash there. I gasped and caught him as he fell forward. I screamed out, holding him close.
“No, no! Jack!” I screamed and the dream shattered. I sat up and I was in the living room. My Aunt Nelly and Uncle stood over the couch where Jack lay crumpled, a large stitched gash in his belly.
“Vlad! Good you’re awake.” Otis said, helping me sit up and stumble over to the couch. My body was sore, like I had been r***d again, but...more gently.
“Is-Is he okay? What happened?” I croaked, falling to my knees next to my wounded beloved.
“This odd person hurt him while he was defending you. You were...I think that creature did something to you and Jack happened upon you and tried to save you. I dressed you and brought you down so we could be together” Otis explained, rubbing my shoulder as tears welled in my eyes. The spirit’s heartbeat stuttered and I choked up, grabbing his icy hand.
“Thank you, Jack..for saving me...just please be alright. I-I love you...so much….I can’t lose you. So please, rest up and grow strong again. I love you, my beloved, beautiful frost spirit.” I said, holding his hand tightly as Nelly went to go clean her hands and Otis left me alone to be with my poor wounded Jack.

I woke up with my head resting on the couch next to Jack, I sat up and looked up at him. Rubbing my eyes, I looked him over. His hoodie was torn and dried stiff with blood. Quietly, sniffling, I pulled the ruined garment off of his pale form and went upstairs to find him something to replace it. After digging through my closets and vetoing nearly every hoodie I owned, I came across a baby blue pullover with deep purple swirls on it. It had been a gift from aunt Nelly that had never been my style. But it was perfect for Jack and I knew he would love it when he woke. I went back downstairs, choking up as my eyes fell on his broken form again. He was so strong, but defending me had broke him. I went to his side and carefully eased the hoodie over his head, sliding his arms into the sleeves and pulling it over him. The neck and hem instantly shot over with frost and I smiled weakly. At least he would still have his frost covered hoodie, it would just be a little different. I leaned over him, feeling tears well in my eyes as I pressed my forehead to is icy one.
“I’m sorry you got hurt for me, Jack. Please...please get better soon…” I whispered shakily before gently pressing a kiss to his cold lips. Suddenly, a surge of power built in my chest and seemed to pass between us, making Jack cry out and arch, his eye shooting wide. But instead of blue, they were glowing an iridescent purple. Otis skidded into the room, sword at the ready, but all he was me and Jack, who had started to writhe on the couch.
“What happened?” Otis asked, dropping the sword and rushing over to hold Jack still so he wouldn’t hurt himself.
“I...I just asked him to get better soon and k-kissed him.” I asked, backing away quickly, afraid to cause more damage. But then Jack fell still and he blinked, the purple gone from his eyes.
“Vl-Vlad...how is the pain gone?” He asked me, looking at me and touching his stomach, pulling up his knew hoodie to reveal nothing but a scar. The floor was suddenly rushing toward my face as my strength left me, dropping me into a dead faint.
