I thought out loud as I stare at Ruby Jane who was supposed to wait outside for me while I have my business meeting.
Did I leave her for how long and she’s mingling already? I clenched my fist.
“Do not react Damien. Do not. You are not supposed to,” I reminded myself.
The plan was to get over her, to be bored but here I was bothered by her and the man she was speaking to.
I took in a deep breath and exhaled before walking to meet them, reminding myself that I shouldn’t say anything to her about what she was doing to the stranger and tell her to let’s go instead.
