Caitlyn's POV
"You need to understand, Caitlyn! Here, you must follow my rules!"
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My heart filled with anger.
"Let him go, Raymond! You know how much he means to me!" I realized how completely wrong I'd been. How could I have fallen for such a terrifying man? My wolf paced inside me, the despair threatening to break me, and all I wanted was to defy Raymond, no matter the cost.
It seemed like my words only made him angrier. I watched his eyes gradually turn red. Fear gripped me, and I instinctively shrank back.
Seeing my reaction, Raymond seemed to lose control. He kissed me fiercely, his lips overpowering my protests as his arms locked me in place. I felt myself falling apart, powerless to stop it.
"Let her go!"
