Dana?
I was a little surprised, ready to get up from the chair, but then thought, in the eyes of outsiders, Dana and I were just strangers, I could not pitted her, so forced to hold down my curiosity.
Douglas had meant to go, but he remained where he was, not knowing whether his desire to see the crowd prevented him.
"Darren." After the door was pulled open, Douglas called out towards Darren, "Didn't you say you were busy at lunch today and wouldn't be back for dinner?"
"Came back to pick up a few things." He nodded slightly toward Douglas, turned and went into the study, "You come over here too."
After the two of them left, it was just Dana, Linda and I, awkwardly left in place.
"Rosalie?" Linda's voice snapped to a shrill, "Why are you here?!"
